My question to the Pacers. Is why didn't they make all the same similar moves. While waiting on OG, signing Heartinstein, trading for Caruso and the adding a guy like Naji Marshall, Andre Drummond. Or maybe a minimum player like Kessler Edwards. Then signing Jaylon Tyson, Terrance Shannon Jr., or move up to get Kel'el Ware. Then drafted Klintman, or Jaylen Wells with their last pick. Picked up Keshad Johnson in Undrafted?? We could have also had a DeRozan had we wanted. Not as likely that I'd selected him. But there were many moves we could have made and much better one's to take this roster into a tru title contender. Who signs a 45 mil player that's basically washed. Can't draw a double team.. less than mid at his actual ability to defend. Not speaking if his Defensive I.Q.. But the shot making is no where near good enough, along with bad D to pay him "Superstar" money. I'd rather had Obi, Walker and Chimeze Metu playing PF. With Turner and Heartinstein at C. OG would have came over, had him start, Nesmith behind him, Caruso could start at SG. Mathurin and Nembhard battle for a starting role, as Walker. Not everyone will be there forever. Haliburton and McConnell at PG as well.. If we had our picks and all those player's. You also increase your chances greatly at landing Markkenan.. but hey, what do I know. BTW I'd selected Cam Whitmore anyways, or Hendricks. Also say the talent in Jaylen Williams, Braun, LaRavia, Santi Aldama and many more.. I wish I had a say, or could make a trade.
Team needs to make a big move. Heat need a future PG and Kel'el Ware likes to stretch and post. Turner doesn't wanna stay.. They have Bam Adebyo and other assets, with picks we could swap.. Js.

Show idea: what are the pathways whereby the Pacers could win the NBA championship? For example: Tyrese plays at 1st third of the season level, Siakam improves defensively, Nembhard is at ECF level, and Nesmith ticks up better. All else holding steady, I think that team could win a title. But there are lots of other pathways involving different baskets of improvements, some more realistic than others. Be interested to hear your takes.
