So the Philadelphia 76ers have abruptly ended their pursuit of free agent forward Paul George and all it tells me is that Paul George wants way more money than he's actually worth to the rest of the NBA. Paul George has a $48M player option with the LA Clippers and if he's looking to make $50M+ a year. He's going to be VERY disappointed.

He doesn't have the heart to be a main option on a championship team. Hes comfortable in LA get most money as possible with low expectations. He knows the blame pie wont fall on him and they will probably have injury and depth issues. He doesnt care about a championship and it shows.

48 the year... if he was 3 years younger maybe some team would pay that. At the moment, no team is gonna put that much. He' s stuck for another year... maybe after, for a reasonable contract you're gonna see some teams interested. Next year is a total NO!

I kind of feel with the amount that the Clippers would want in a sign and trade the team he would go to would be robbed of all their resources just to acquire him and wouldn't be that good. The only teams he would make a big difference for are the ones that have the cap space already available and most those teams are not very good.

If he wants to win a championship before he retires he needs to stop acting stubborn geesh. Got people thinking he cares more about the money then winning. PG 13 would've took less money to play with a contender in winning a championship
