Low key the best part is Paul Heyman actually naming Nancy and Daniel, because everybody knows Chris's name but I'll bet a lot of people just know them as "Benoit's wife and kid"

Everybody that cared actually looked it up. And this whole thing is a sham. Literally nobody on this earth doesn't feel sorry for what happened to Nancy and Daniel. But ignoring the mental state of a man and letting his name die? In the same world where they are making Web Series on Dahmer, Ted Bundy etc? Come on now, this whole thing is pretentious bullshit. Benoit wasn't even the first Pro-Wrestler to murder someone. There are a few who did and probably even got away with it. It was a crime, it was unfair and sad. Was it heinous? I don't think so. Benoit's brain was fucked up from physical and mental trauma.

My bro I’m from 1997 I’ve been watching wrestling since I came out me moms beef curtains I know exactly who Chris Benoit is one of me greats (as a wrestler ) but after he did what he did I ended up crying as a kid I knew exactly the names of the family in fact did yah know Chris Benoit stole Nancy off kevin Sullivan ???I can walk you through that whole history plus I bet you don’t know who that is .. I know the full story I absolutely started thinking the man himself was toxic and full of roid rage .. so don’t say 99% cause i myself will win a trivia if it came to wrestling I still watch it and im almost 30 in 3 years I still watch all the old classic clips and look into old rilvaries including the infamous Montreal screw job I watch all that shit hello even watch the documentary on the iron sheik which hands owns was the greatest heel of all time in my opinion

@HOLDFASTBEAR
@HOLDFASTBEAR Год назад
I've never seen anyone cry for him, its usually a discussion of advocating for whether or not that was the real Chris, or like the brain dissection that was done suggests that he was an 85yr man with alzheimers. To me there's enough reasonable doubt to say he wasn't a monster, but the physical trauma his brain endured turned him into one. This clip just feels like Paul is protecting his life's work which is a very common thing old school guys do. The only job Chris ever had was being a professional wrestler which ruined his life, his family's lives, and the lives of so many wrestlers. The wwe is very obviously negligent
@TheRealAb216
@TheRealAb216 Год назад
@@HOLDFASTBEAR but 85 year old men with alzheimers aren't murdering people. This wasn't some old guy forgetting how to drive and causing a crash. He killed them with his own hands using physical violence and had the option to stop at any time.

@@TheRealAb216 absolutely. You can blame it on CTE or whatever you want but he STRANGLED them. Thats a slow extremely personal way to kill someone. So at any point he could have stopped and said what am i doing these are people i love. But he didnt stop. Heyman is 100% correct here. 3 people died ONLY 1 had the choice NOT TO. Look at the Facts of the case. Police said he died on Sunday autopsy said it was at the same time Nancy was killed on Saturday why is this important because chavo got a text Sunday morning with Benoit address now why would Benoit send his address to Chavo when he has been there many times. Next why was there alcohol and pills next to Benoit lifeless body when he didn’t have them in his system you think Benoit someone who strictly trained would ever have alcohol next to his weights. Finally it’s been proven how Benoit hung himself with the weight cables was impossible to do by yourself there are RU-vid videos of people trying it with the same exact weight machine it’s physically impossible. Also police did a horrible investigation never interviewed the neighbors about chavo saying his last conversation on the Saturday Benoit had someone knocking on his door he didn’t expect company and sounded worried he said I’ll call you right back and never called back.

How the fuck did he keep episodes contained, because you just have no control over when it happens, you just go into fits of rage at random. @@KOHoxtonI have always wondered about his case myself cuz they said when he left raw or whatever the show was the night before or whatever night was his last show they said Chris took a unusual route home and said he was paranoid about something and for awhile had been acting a lil paranoid like ppl were following him and I remember Eddie's wife Vicky even saying after Eddie died that she had found Chris laying on Vicky and Eddie's bed on Eddie's side curled up in the fetal position weeping into a pillow over Eddie. Now I understand the brotherhood I understand the bond that is made but that always struck me as weird ya know that's something I can see his wife and kids doing over Eddie and probably did do on more than one occasion but for Chris to do it struck me as weird very weird just something seemed unhinged about him before the incident and I think had more ppl asked questions and checked on Chris and maybe stepped in and said hey ya know Chris maybe u need to see somebody maybe the awhole thing never wud have occurred. @@aaroncarter8471 I've personally always wondered about the "people following him" thing, I don't understand how he'd never have had an episode backstage if it was as bad as they say it was at the time, I'd actually like a re-visit of that case one day. With the much better knowledge of CTE we have now. In comparison to then, I've also wondered what the chances are. That the whole situation kinda sounded like it could've been some fuckin weird extortion tactic or something, as if they were being held hostage. Just the random texts and phone calls that went out that day, just the way everything played out. The way he had delayed a flight with intention of showing up the next day, the paranoia of various black cars and people following him. CTE can cause confusion and episodes of confusion. Rage. There's really not. Benoit's brain was rattled, he was depressed from losing Eddie and others, he was abusing alcohol and other substances, and his marriage was falling apart. Like all disasters it wasn't just one thing but a plethora of things creating the perfect storm. My guess is that Chris and Nancy got in a huge fight while they were drinking and Nancy told Chris that she was leaving and taking Daniel with her. This sent Chris into a level of rage towards her that there was no coming back from. Bounds and gags her, then with his knee pressed into her back he either strangles her using his arms or possible a towel. This is on Friday night, Nancy's dead. Hides the fact from Daniel the next day (probably said Mom left for the weekend but would be back) then after spending all day thinking about it, decides (in his own messed up head) that it would be better to mercifully end Daniel's life as opposed to the kid growing up without any parents because his Dad was a f**king monster and killed his mom. Heavily sedates Daniel with Xanax then "gently" suffocates him with pillow late Saturday night/early Sunday morning. Sends text messages from his and Nancy's phones to Chavo Guerrero and Scott Armstrong the home address and how to get into house. Probably spends the majority of Sunday crying his eyes out over what has happened/what he has to do. Leavea a Bible next to Nancy and Daniel, and pens a Suicide note. "I'm preparing to leave this earth" is the only part that was released publicly, the rest is probably only known by Chris's father Michael. Sunday evening, Chris goes to his home gym... goes to his Lat Lift Pull Down machine... wraps the wire connected to the handle bars around his neck, and manually lifts probably 2 to 300 lbs (which only somebody with a terrifying level of strength could even do) and let's it go. Obviously no one will ever know exactly what happened in the house that weekend, but I would be willing to bet the scenario that I just laid out is pretty damn close. Even all these years later, still sad beyond belief. RIP Nancy and Daniel.

Almost like he really wasn't that much different from who he was when everyone first met him. So I don't think it was just some sudden burst of anger.
