I admit that I have listened to this interview more than once. It is mindblowing how many bands that never would have happened, how many performers, how many writers we never would have even heard of if there had never been the Beatles. Lovely to hear Paul's voice! I heard an interview by Mark Lewisohn regarding his herculean task of writing a trilogy of the Beatles' entire story. Historically, there is no one alive on this planet who has had as much of an impact on the world as Paul McCartney. With his band of brothers, he was responsible for changing the recording industry, teen culture, fashion, class system in UK. and so much more. It is a heavy crown to bear but he carries it with grace and wit. God bless him! He wrote the soundtrack of our lives.

I saw her standing there, is my personal all time favorite Rock'n Roll masterpiece. The count-in, the energy, the feel , the pace, the message and the honesty is raw and cuts through what ever your day is, and takes you away to a place of joy. Thrilling enough to play 3 or 4 times in a row. That for me says volumes. It moves me like no other song. let it be , which I think is very close to Paul, is a very close second. There are simply too many magical compositions to count. A treasure chest of riches.

Even 40 years after John's murder, people still want to stir up controversy for no other reason than to scratch their sadistic itch. All of the Fucking questions have been answered and all of the relationships have returned to friendship and love. For the sake of the memory of John and George and the respect for Ringo and Paul let's just appreciate that we had the pleasure of their talent and charm and that there are still 2 Beatles left we can love, appreciate and let them know it.

Actually that's not accurate. Paul Whiteman & His Orchestra had 32 No. 1 hits between 1920 and 1934. Guy Lombardo & His Orchestra had 27 No. 1 hits between 1927 and 1939, Glenn Miller & His Orchestra had 23 No. 1 hits between 1939 and 1943. But I guess nothing before Rock n Roll counts.

Thank you for uploading this. It is great to be able to listen to this in Japan. I think John was always jealous of Paul's talent from the moment they had met.

John was insecure. Paul had melodic talent. But John had substance.

Great interview, started off low class with the whole “you getting laid?” Thing. You could tell Paul didn’t want to get into his personal life. But ended up getting some great questions in. Thanks for the upload
