I well remember watching this, amazed, at 17ish, thinking he was well old at 51. Now I'm not far off that at 46 and I always love this gig. Am also a big fan of Robbie Mcintosh guitarist. This would make a great live album, the whole show.
I've literally discovered the Beatles and "Michelle" thanks to my dad's and mom's record collection. My father passed away in September 2023 and it's a loss I will never be able to cope with. So let me put here one of the song's lines to express my feelings: "I love you, I love you I love you, that's all I want to say".
My birth mom’s name is Michele with one L, does this song still count for her? By the way my birth mother was born in 59 and then she had me in 1977. This is actually one of my favorite songs. The last time I ever spoke to her ever saw my birth mom was in 1995 when my great grandmother had passed away. My birth mom and I just recently reconnected with each other two years ago or last year I should say through Facebook messaging. I don’t hear from her much anymore because after hearing from my very first younger brother that even he doesn’t hear from our parents because the only time that they ever communicate with him is when they want something from him.
