I got to see Paul live for the first time this year and I won the tickets. It was easily the greatest show I have ever seen and as a lifelong Beatles fan, I can't believe how lucky I was to have won those tickets. It was such an honor just to be in the same location as him.
Paul has the best fans, I loved seeing their excitement! especially those two in the beginning lol And I'm sure it's stuff like that, that makes Paul love what he does. Love ya Paul!
"that would be something" to be in New York, and all of a sudden there is Paul McCartney playing for you! How neat is that? Those folks had one lucky day!
This was on the last day of my trip in NYC... and it was the most awesome sprinkled covered cherry on top of what was already a fabulous trip! :D Even after all this time, the man never ceases to surprise me.

I was lucky enough to see him in Austin on his Out There tour. He'd never played in Austin, but he seemed pretty familiar with Austin's reputation for terrific live music. For many years, my all time favorite concert was Led Zeppelin at the Forum in L.A. in 1977 on the last of their seven nights at The Forum. That is now #2 behind Paul McCartney in 2013. Calling Paul a musical genius just seems to be so inadequate a description.
