To sing like this in the age of 80 with all those high tones with such enthusiasm... is beyond my comprehension. Paul is truly blessed by God, a living miracle...

Was there. The energy level was absolutely insane. He asked the audience to do a "Beatles scream" earlier in the show. I've never heard an audience that loud before
There absolute was a yellowed set list on the shoulder of his hofner bass. When I toured with him he had more than one Hofner bass. I highly doubt the bass he currently plays is the original Beatles one. Too rare and valuable to tour

I've seen comments from people saying that Sir Paul McCartney is getting too old to do live shows, and I think that they might be right about that... BUT (and that's a BIG 'BUT!) at least he is NOT 'LIPSINKING' ☺ like the majority of performers do at every concert!!! When they do that you might as well stay home and listen to their CD 's!
Those people are ignorant fools who don't understand music. Sometimes Paul sings a DIFFERENT lower part than what he did on the record. In other words, sometimes he sings John's part. That's what may sound different to a few non musical people. LOL
Who cares if it’s a bit different! If you a chance to see a living legend like Sir Paul in person, you’ll be experiencing such joy and happiness the likes of which you will never forget! And THAT is what life is all about.
If this were not Paul McCartney, and the performer sang with that voice, we would all agree that he cannot sing and should not be performing. But it IS Paul and the fans still come out to see him. At some point, however, he will have to call it quits.
@@lettermenfan32 No, we wouldn't all agree. He didn't as good as he did 25 year ago, but he still sounded pretty. He hit all the notes but not with as much power like before. For you to say he cannot sing anymore is a gross idiotic exaggeration. Yes, he will still have to call it quits sometime, but not yet.

@@gorodgen Еще Крис Норман ( экс Смоки )))) . ))) Ему 72 , а он до сих пор поет и много нового написал и напел , а не старые песни поет . ))) И голос намного лучше , чем у Пола сейчас . Хотя признаю , что Полу тут уже 80 . Но и Крис наверное еще тоже так может продержаться . Он в прекрасной форме еще .
That tape was on his hofner with the last Beatles set list. It remained on his bass through the first world tour since Wings when he had Flowers in the Dirt album released. Elvis Costello who played on some tracks on that album told Paul he should get his old Hofner back out, so he did. Since then the tiny set list was removed either by Paul or when they were refurbishing the Hofner.
Aging sucks. It catches up with all of us. I am a lifelong fan of Paul. Fans still come out to see him. But honestly, I hope he realizes that his voice is no longer there.
