Most Beatles songs don’t have that much or complicated chords. But they did it in such a special way that only they could do. The Beatles aren’t my favorite band, but they sure were the best band in the world.
In 2010,Paul's voice had not yet lost it's punch and as always, even to this day ,he is the a genius musically and a extreme show man. None such as he will pass our way for centuries.
1965-WWII vet Dad hated music-he threw my sisters transistor radio down the laundry shoot-but when he saw the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show he said "Those guys have some talent"
My wife and I have been fortunate enough to see Sir Paul three times, so for those of you that have seen him live you know this totals somewhere between 7.5 - 9 hours of live performances. And we still haven’t heard all the songs we’d love to have heard him play. How many other musicians have a catalogue that deep? It’ll truly be the end of an era when Paul joins John & George on the other side.
Don't know why people get on the hate side. LOVE how he does the talk/sing over the bass here towards the end (3:03). One thing is that it may be too fast here. Slow it down, Abe. I was at this concert. ALWAYS a thrill to hear this man and this band!!!!
Hateful from my part goes for these douchebags that form his band. I don't get why McCartney has to fill his band with younger douches, his 90s band was perfect. I hate these two "Oh I am so gorgeous and does my hair look nice" guitar players and that fat fucking annoying laboriel.
Josh Thomson ~ Yeah, Check out the fascinating video footage called = “Who is Paul McCartney?” By Windows On The World The Nick Kollerstrom episode YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED !
And speaking of douchebags, it's @@LRS905 , folks. Those "kids" are in their late 60s and perfectly capable of laying low any venue in which they play. If Paul McCartney thinks they're good, well... The man's been pretty successful with these cats for the past couple of decades. Get back to us when Macca calls you up to play guitar.
Over all you gotta love em he and the other three were not only great music makers but the best of friends. There isn't a BEATLE song that I don't like they all were done to perfection love you guys
A lot of jealous Stones fans on here, who by the way came to Paul & John for their first 2 hits, this man is the greatest composer singer this world will ever see.
explain how FAKE paul made one of the most influencial albums, basslines and riffs. hes not dead, i swear to fucking god. have you ever seen danny sexbang? because his face changed too, just like paul.

This is one of my favourite Beatles songs. What I love about this live performance is that there are only five people on stage not like some of the acts that come out with 8+ people. Get back to more of how the music was created.
His keyboardist Paul Wickens pulls a lot of heavy duty stuff behind the scenes. He runs a lot of stuff through his keyboard loops to make the band sound bigger than they are. Wix has been Paul's full time keyboard player since 1989.
I would have loved to have been in the studio when the Beatles were working on the song and someone came up with the idea to sing that in the background (assuming McCartney hadn’t already thought of it).
I remember David Crosby of the Byrds saying with admiration that this track was beyond the Byrds' capability. I think he meant the vocal arrangement and the Byrds were famous for theirs. It's certainly one of my favourites. I can play over 60 Beatles songs but I don't do this one as it's so hard to play it with the riff and sing it on one guitar. I think Paul found it easier to play rhythm than bass live. It'd be like patting your head while rubbing your stomach - though he manages it on so many. Genius.
Certainly one of the most beautiful of the Beatles’ songs. A joy to listen to. Awesome performance. A crowd of people gathered in Strawberry Fields in NYC this last December 8th (2019) and sang this and it sounded great. People knew the harmonies after all these years and many of them were young. We love you, Paul. (Yeah, Yeah, Yeah)
Sans commentaires ...it's all the best...thank ' s Paul!!! ❤ 😊. Aïe, aïe , aïe. J' en prend, plein la tronche ... Tant pis... un très grand merci Paul, à toi et tes potes. !
Diggerdog2nd ~ Yeah, Check out the amazing short video footage called = “Paul to Faul 1966/1967 interviews more differences” By Sandpit123 No Body Can Change That Much in five months after smoking a few spliffs and taking a little bit of LSD.
Paul is the ultimate rocker and showman . He’s also the ultimate songwriter and studio artist . Performing is his roots . He is my worlds minstrel.Makes me happy inspires me musically and many other ways . Paul keeps me entertained. And that is good. I like how he’s lost a little bit of the Liverpool accent and pronounces writer during the song instead of writa.
It's two years since you made this comment but it really struck me when you said 'he is my world's minstrel'. Love that description of him. All the times I have seen McCartney criticized for his 'music hall' [which all The Beatles grew up with and loved] but he was the only Beatle who was ever criticized for it....and then you take it back to 'Minstrel', accurately in my opinion. What a great comment.
So different to hear Paul play this on a Les Paul instead of his Epiphone Casino that I'm used to hear this song be played on. Of course still awesome though.
