Abe, the drummer, was steaming. Literally.

"And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make." That part always chokes me up.

I didn't see the Beatles..I was too young here in Australia.. but I grew up with them! I've seen Ringo and the All Star Band (thank you Tim Farris) ..I've seen Wings and this band .. omg ... Paul! Don't ever stop!

Paul is legendary, and Abe Laboriel Jr. is a beast on the kit. I salute you both, sirs.

Abe kills it. Such energy. Love him and love his dad too. God bless the Laboriel family.

I have been to Paul McCartney concert last weekend December 16 2023 in Brazil Maracanã, with my 9 year old daughter. Thank You Paul for still being alive and giving me the joy to listen live this song that I used to listen with my dad when I was her age. Every time I hear Sgt Peppers album I feel connect with him.

That drummer is on fire! And I mean that both literally and figuratively...is that smoke coming off of his head???

Paul can rock so many instuments, he's self taught the ukulele, piano, mandolin, guitar hes pretty awesome :D

Wow! Just wow. McCartney is a worldwide treasure. What a band. They ooze with talent. I wonder how many drumsticks that drummer goes through. It’s a wonder his drum kit doesn’t shatter to pieces. What a backbeat.

Thank you Sir Paul, You have brought me so much joy through your music my whole life.

This is definitely the best band Paul's ever had (besides The Beatles, obviously). All his musicians are top notch. With all of those screaming guitar solos on 'The End' with Abe's powerhouse drum sound backing them up, how can you not enjoy this performance? Makes me even more excited to see Paul at the end of this month. :)

don't mean to repeat myself BUT, I saw this band w Sir Paul . Front & center. I'm telling U, my fellow fans, the drummer was playing soooo hard, he was breaking sticks, reached 4 another next to him in a bucket, & NEVER missed a beet. He was so quick it was hard to catch w the naked eye, but he did. He was unfreaking believable. Did ANYONE else ever catch that with this drummer????? This Guy is the best drummer on the planet!!!!!!!!

Lifelong Beatles/McCartney fan and have always appreciated that he had great musicians around him. This drummer is out of this world. He is working the bottom so hard here that there is steam rolling off his head. I LOVE this guy. Talk about earning your money!

I saw Sir Paul with this band in2002. Freaking amazing. Had front & center seats. The greatest night of my life. I thought the drummer was throwing his sticks in the air, but as I watched closer, he was playing so hard, he was breaking the sticks, had a bucket of sticks next to him, every time he broke a stick, grabed another stick from the bucket, & NEVER missed a beat. Did anyone else see that??????????? Please reply! thanks!!!!!

I really wish The Beatles would have performed The End live, or at least find some footage of it. Imagining them playing the final songs of Abbey Road is EPIC!

I agree len0613. I've seen Abe play at many small venues in L.A. and the guys incredible on and off the drums. Abe is a hugely sought after studio drummer and has played with the likes of Sting....filling Stewart Copeland's shoes is no easy task. He was picked by Paul to tour with him during the first tour, that's says something about him! He's a stud drummer, just wished I still lived in L.A. to catch him!

When the Beatles were starting back in the 50's it was Paul who was on guitar and not the bass. Stu Sutcliff was the bass player and the "face" of the band for babe magnet purposes. And since he really couldn't play bass and preferred to pursue his art it was paul who took over the bass duties. He does have a unique style of playing bass.
