Like all McCartneys albums but I like this one the most. Can sing every song on it without thinking.

The album RAM brings back a lot of nostalgia because Linda McCartney started learning alongside her husband and form the great band Wings. I love you ‪#cherrygrove1000

Un des meilleurs albums de McCartney avec "Flaming pie" (1997).

I was secretly hoping that the Beatles would all fail at being single artists and be forced to reunite..... but after this album came out I knew it was all over for the Beatles.

I asked my parents to buy this album as a birthday present when it was released, I wasn't a huge Beatles fan ( I did see Paul McCartney and Wings in Adelaide, Australia in 1974 though ) I was very passionate about music at an early age and started playing guitar seriously when I was 16 years old, yet I wouldn't say any of the Beatles inspired me to play though, more 'Stones' ( Keith Richards especially ) Hendrix, Clapton, Yardbirds, 'Led Zepplin', I liked John's Song's when 'The Beatles' were together, I could always tell who sang and wrote which songs. Thanks for uploading, I have not heard this in probably 35 years! Wooo!

Beatriz Vicencio Lost so many years in my life! what are you talking about, you have no idea about my life, I play guitar, I've played with many musicians and bands ( in fact I met my current partner in the last band I played in, she also has a degree in music) I play and listen, as well as read about the history of music and autobiography's of artist's every day! and I mean every day!! I am passionate about music to the point that it takes up most of the time in my life. I had this album at the age of 13 years old, I had a collection of about 450+ vinyl's that I foolishly sold in 1990 thinking CD's were the greatest thing, boy was I wrong! but I won't get in to the technical side of that, so I was listening to this album when I had it on vinyl often, I sold my vinyl's in 90' so I am out in my calculation, I haven't heard this album in about 25 years not 35 as I posted, but man, have you got a long way to go to catch up with the amount of music I have listened to in my life as well as playing an instrument, my partner and I have about 300-400 CD's between us, plus the internet YT site, were I can listen to anyone I feel like. I am a huge Frank Zappa fan, he has about 90 album's released ( 60 pre 1993 when he sadly passed away from prostrate cancer ) and about 40 post 1993 ( and I've heard them all!) so I have no idea what you are talking about? lost so many years LOL.. I will tell you something though, it is a good idea not to over listen to an album as it lose's it's beauty, I'll give you an example, I am also a huge Led Zepplin' fan, but if I hear 'Stairway To Heaven' or if someone requests me to play it (which I can very well) one more time I will slit my wrist.. lol.. with the amount of albums Frank has out , it literally takes months to come back to the same album ( I just recycle them ) so I never get sick of listening to them, I love to hear a song I haven't heard in a while, as It takes me back to a time I remember in my life, such as RAM. Don't be one of those people that listen to the same 10 albums all their life, keep an open mind, music is a beautiful gift, treasure it! Cheers.

Yep. Not like Yoko. Paul got himself the perfect soul-mate, and it made his music BETTER!

Steve Lee I dunno, I think Lennon wz very happy with Yoko. From them, thru the press, the public....we get very distorted info
@stevelee7550

Yeah. John really loved her - much to the complete astonishment of his bandmates. But when JL refused to produce/bankroll her hideous album, he was gone in less than a month, and six months later Yoko produced that monstrosity. 8(
@LIZZIE-lizzie

Steve Lee By, JL, you mean, John Lennon? He would not produce her album, so she got someone else to do it; meaning he was gone out of the bankroll gig? At least Yoko produced it, she didn't go to some other guy. Even if she got a female to produce it - she, produced it. I was always 'stuck', so to speak, as one who liked Ono's stuff, back then. I had the single, 'Walking on Thin Ice", I love that tune! Just found out Elvis Costello did a cover of that. He might've done the cover 25 yrs ago,not-lmao- I jst found out. How embarassing I watched The Lennon's, on 'The Mike Douglas Show', all the time! Once in a while I bring them back up, on YT. LIVE TV, back then. THAT was good stuff!

The original Rolling Stone review nailed it. "Ram represents the nadir in the decomposition of Sixties rock thus far." Never, ever, let your woman into the band.

djjbzombies RIGHT! Compared to nasty Ono, Linda had a brain in her head ;-) AND by the way this is a good album ;-)
@thomasogg602

OroborusFMA What a stupid comment. Linda was nothing but a positive influence on Paul. Stop buying into the myth. For the record, Paul didn't break up the Beatles either - in fact, if it wasn't for him, they'd have all been royally shafted by Allen Klein - nor was he a lesser talent than Lennon (he was certainly the more musically adventurous of the two) and nor is his solo work below quality. Many of his solo albums are absolutely terrific, including this one. So don't blame Linda just because you haven't got very good taste in music.

Critics. Have any of *them* been knighted by the Queen? Sir Paul could pay all their salaries and not miss it - and he got that rich on his talent. Pan away...
@LIZZIE-lizzie
@LIZZIE-lizzie 10 лет назад
Steve Lee Knighted? Oh, please. I don't think you mean thaz a reason to like the album. the monarchy should've been panned 100 yrs ago. The brit monarchy effectively destroyed every other monarchy in Europe; with the exception of little gambling havens like Monaco. RAM is one of McCartneys' best works. Made during his first years with Linda, iz a new expression of his new, happy life with his new wife. .......and iz fabulously good!
