We all need to celebrate this man is still with us. I get up every day and thank the universe that he is still here whilst I listen to his amazing music.
My 16 year old musician / daughter / Beatles fanatic, looked at me on Wednesday night in Adelaide, when Paul hit this first chord. With a “What the actual fook” ??? even she knew this was a surprise 🙏
There’s a great soundboard bootleg cd of The Beatles playing Adelaide in 1964. Wonderful to see Paul putting smiles on people’s faces all these years later!!!
I feel very fortunate as I was 13 when the Beatles came on the scene. I lived Beatlemania at the right age at the right time. What a magical time it was.
I couldn’t believe it last night, when Paul pulled this one from his bum !! She’s a woman !! Feeling really special in little old Adelaide last night 🙏🤷🏼♂️
I was born in ‘62. This may have been the first Beatles song I remember hearing on the radio. I definitely have remembered that unique beginning since very early in my life.
EL VIEJO PAUL NO SOLO HA PERDIDO PARTE DE SU GRANDIOSA VOZ SINO TAMBIEN LOS MOVIMIENTOS CARACTERISTICOS Y EL BAILADITO DE LA EPOCA BEATLE .......WHAT A SHAME ......!!!!
Finally, Rusty Anderson got an Epiphone Casino (the red guitar shown here). Paul was the first Beatle to acquire this hollow-body guitar in 1964 and still have it... on several tours he used it. John & George get their Epiphones in 1966.
Looking at some of the faces in the crowd, most of them wouldn't have been born when this song was released. Saw the Beatles in '64 when I was still living in England. I was about 16.
I don’t go to see oldies acts who are well past their prime - this proves my point. Beyond awful. ‘Real music’ can be in tune. Nostalgia is not enough for me to endure substandard performances.
@@elizabethfonseca922 You’re ‘rude!’ McCartney iS out of tune - he IS a nostalgia act. And exploiting his sycophantic Beatles followers is criminal. He made his mark in his hey day, which was great. He is now well past it. Croaking out a few dated tunes is not what I would pay hundreds of dollars to listen to!
I've seen Paul 7 times...last time 2010 when he still sounded good. I refuse to see him nowadays...he sounds horrible. I really think he should stop playing live.
