Aw, Paul… The part where he said “I was sitting in a bare room thinking about John and realizing I lost him” was too precious… I can just imagine that scenario, and it’s real depressing… He and John were brothers, no doubt about it. There was just something between the two of them that you won’t see with Paul and anyone else or John and anyone else. We fans can see it when they look each other in the eyes in movies and docs, but it’s such a deep connection that we can’t describe it. I mean we often say things like “there was something between them”, “they were brothers”, “they loved each other”, etc. But it’s something deeper, and it’s too deep for us to understand. Only John and Paul know what it is, because it’s theirs, and only theirs. ~John + Paul forever 💚💙~

@@mazasan Yes… It’s like a spark that only ignites when the two of them look each other in the eyes. It’s a deep love that Paul misses for sure. Well, like I said: only they know what it really is, because it’s theirs, and only theirs. 😌

I would have loved to have seen that image of John pulling his glasses down and saying "It's only me." "Here Today" gets me every time, such an emotional. beautiful love song to his Beatle brother. ❤

I still wonder if they'd have got back together for live aid. I don't think George was speaking to John when he died so I'm sure those two are partying with the other greats up there.

@@Beatlestories I have always believed George would have put a kibosh to any reunion. He didn't even like it that much when interviewers asked him questions about the band. But I think John and Paul might have done something. As John stated, Paul was the one he picked. George came through Paul and Ringo came in through George. If not an event like Live Aid, maybe something further on down the road. It's a pleasant thought.

For a complete reunion John was needed. And now, 2022, George too. The best was George, Paul and Ringo in the Anthology series. I'm not sure, even John was alive than, hè would be parcipated than.

Ever since I’ve lost my friend to a gun, I find myself listening to Here Today more and more. I never thought I would be able to relate to Paul, losing a friend over a psycho with a firearm. Both of us were musicians, and my friend was one of the most talented musicians I’ve ever seen. We’d both talk about guitars together, both in a band- and funnily enough he made fun of me for liking The Beatles, but I feel like he liked them as well. Just silently. Hearing Paul talk about losing John hits closer to home now, and in a way I’m happy knowing I can cry with someone who’s gone through something very similar. God bless the beautiful people in our lives, forever.

I was listening to a podcast the other day where the hosts were trying to get to the heart and depth of John and Paul's relationship. It's a very complex thing that even their spouses couldn't completely understand, and that Yoko felt threatened by. I enjoyed hearing Paul give us a glimpse of it with such honesty and candor. I believe John would have been deeply touched to have heard Paul say he loved him. I think as Paul gets older he is more open with sharing his feelings. With all his tough bravado John always put his feelings and emotions out there for the world to see, but Paul kept things close to the vest. This was what made people love John was that he laid it all bare. I'm happy to see Paul opening up more.

@@MrGordo1997 It's called "Another Kind of Mind A Different Kind of Beatle Podcast" They did a 5 part episode called Pizza and Fairytales where they discuss Paul and John's relationship. John always told Paul that everything to him was Pizza and Fairytales.

It’s a beautiful song. It’s not just the lyrics but it has something in the music that really makes me sad. You can feel in the music how sad Paul must have been while composing it.

I am not entirely sure but I believe this beautiful little excerpt is from an audiobook version of one of Paul’s books I’m not entirely sure but it could be his recently released book The Lyrics which explains all of his songs lyrics along with some personal connotations.

YokoOnoOfficial and UMG made copyright claims against 6 of my videos so RU-vid terminated the channel. I emailed YokoOnoOfficial and whoever deals with her emails and social media said they would retract the copyright claims but never did. I started again and I'm thinking maybe it's for the best. I really want this podcast to work because once I get started I'll be putting episodes on Spotify or something, and uploading edited versions here on RU-vid. I was really depressed with it all so I didn't even try to start again until November. And Si it is :) Btw. If YokoOnoOfficial or UMG or RU-vid emailed me I'd have deleted the videos but I didn't even get a warning!
