@@zoltannemeth8864 I know, it's so sweet and innocent. You're not alone! I think lots of kids who have the opportunity because they live in foresty areas like making paths through woods. It's probably one of those things that kids naturally like to do, but is never recognized as an actual "hobby" because you don't have to spend money to do it LOL. You're probably just a natural trailblazer! Interesting that Paul was also a trailblazer musically as well.
@Dottie sounds like a GREAT idea!. Getting out into nature is amazing, and I think Paul would agree with you there. And taking those tunes will make it amazing.
while you guys do that and longer paul's life i'm going to ask god to take half of my lifespan to resurrect john and george. and now we can have beatles for a little longer (":
Sir Paul McCartney he's a peaceman a loving man a friendly man a handsome man a learned man a principled man, dignified, honored, respected, overwhelming reputations....Take it all wow...
Paul McCartney anonymously playing Yesterday at a Tube Station, in an obnoxious American accent, as people walk by him in disgust-omg priceless. I’m sure he’s thinking wow, no one has walked by me like that since I was a kid...
It's a scene from his movie "Give my regards to broad street" you can find the full movie on RU-vid. Though I'm not sure if the people knew it was him/it was planned or if they just recorded him playing.
Hilarious! He's so talented! Love his impersonations and accents. THANKS! His impression of a German guy is so spot on, and his American busker singing "Yesterday" ... no-one even knew him singing his own song - brilliant!
@@BarnacleButtock I'm hoping that _he_ would be able to. But yeah, he'd probably only shrug his shoulders at me and say "I don't know really." And that would really disappoint me.
@@somethingyousaid5059 in interviews his standard response is usually that it just happened in the studio or in his dreams. Listen to the Anthologies or specifically Junk from Anthology 3--you can hear him developing the songs lyrics and structure as he plays thru the part he's already written. Very interesting
@@BarnacleButtock Songs like Here, There And Everywhere, Penny Lane, Eleanor Rigby, Yesterday, The Fool On The Hill, I've Just Seen A Face, The Long And Winding Road, Maxwell's Silver Hammer, Michelle, She's Leaving Home, Your Mother Should Know, and When I'm Sixty-Four are melodies that quite literally astound me. I'm just wondering how he could know to put the notes together in such a way as to render those oh so technically brilliant melodies. But alas, it's unlikely I'll ever get to find out from the horse's own mouth (sorry Paul) how he did that, and so I think I'll stop wasting my time wondering about it and just let it go already. Anyway it doesn't get in the way of my enjoyment of those songs, and in the final analysis that's what's really important anyway.
@@somethingyousaid5059 many of those songs are from his Jane Asher period, where he would often wake up from bed in the attic and walk straight to the piano to start writing what he had in his head. There is also of course the Beatles Bible website which gives pretty much all the known or publicly available information on every song they've recorded or played. I understand completely your frustration--imagine how much worse it will be when he and Ringo inevitably leave us. :/
Great compilation! The bit at 9:08 had me chuckling so hard I had tears in my eyes. So sad Linda died so young. Certainly she was Paul's other half and the love of his life.
@@roxannemoser I hope he recovered from all the terrible things that happened to him and his loved ones... I hate to see Paul sad... I believe he’s doing incredibly well nowadays, so that makes me happy... :,)
The fact that he is now almost as old as my mother grandma... He really cute and so energic... So childish, can't be stop... He is kind of guy that everybody will love forever.
Lol!! Those are some of my favs! If Macca wasn’t already a rock god, world class multi talented musician,/ vocalist and the greatest songwriter/composer on the planet, he could’ve, very easily, been a very successful comedian. 😀
0:46 Not only is he a great storyteller, but he's also very self-effacing ("too chatty" lol) and very patient with bad interviewers/lame questions (and he's seen more than his fair share). Absolutely look up to this dude, not just as an artist but as a person, and it certainly didn't have to be that way. 7:28 He never gets tired of making people laugh lol
7:13 Lmao! That was one of the first things I noticed about The Beatles. They were very funny aside from being talented and that set them apart from other bands that were around at that time. I’m glad to see that Paul hasn’t lost his warped sense of humor. Lol.
paul without a bass in his hands is hilarious. he’s got this incredible rock n roll voice but the sweetest old man mannerisms and has no idea what to do with his hands i love him
Look at that young Paul, what a cutie!!!..He is so dreamy, I always loved him..At 9 years old, I wanted to marry Paul when I got older, like 18...lol... I still love you Paul even as an older man, I still think you're a cutie.
I love the young Beatles. Old Paul is great too but it's so funny to see him before he experienced so much of the fame! (The Beatles wisened him up so quickly)
Paul is such a nice normal guy. I think all the Beatles were. Paul was just hanging out in New Jersey on Sunday and somebody said to him " you're awesome". Paul looked at him and said " no you're awesome." ☺
He is ALWAYS upbeat...I mistook it for showing off & arrogance... realize he has a great personality... nice guy really admire him...marvelous ballad composer..."I Will"..."Blackbird"... "Yesterday"... "In My Life"...
Beatles clips are the best way to get a feel for the early '60s. This is what it was like. This is how you felt. If you carried it with you through all the following decades of shit, you're still young. I'm 62 and I'm shocked at all the jaded and weary old farts who are half my age.
You’re exactly right! At just turned 70, I still feel younger than many people half my age. I feel sorry for them that they never got to experience that sense of joy and simplicity …
