I'm upset that I have never and will never be able to witness this man in live action but I will forever love his comedy. My 2nd favorite comedian of all time.
I love Paul Mooney he is halarious and quick with the come back. He seems like a real down to earth person . Yes he will tell you about yourself and it's ok ❤️him.
He helped the legendary Richard Pryor with his comedy material ! (I saw a Friar's Roast of Pryor and Mooney, with Marsha Warfield, Sandra Bernhard and Robin Williams.)
I just love how he shocks people with TRUTH..."did he really just say that"...you can just feel the tention. Most of society is blind to what's really going on...I love the way Paul tells it.
Crowd was not ready for the rawness and truth. Different generation they are blinded by the materialism and this new pseudo movement of unity. Can't read between the lines. I'm glad I was around my grandpa I'm 26 but grew up on Paul, Red Foxx, Pryor, Murphy, etc. Real Comedy that challenged you and entertained you at the same time.

Funny how things works. Though Mooney praised her performance, he criticized the movie "Precious" as well as Oprah and Tyler Perry. Monique questioned what Paul said about the movie. Fast-forward to present, who is now criticizing Oprah, Lee Daniels, and Tyler Perry?
I've been obsessed with Paul Mooney since I happen to see him by chance on television as a preteen. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Just Raw and unfiltered... 😮 My mind was further blown when I learned he has been doing this type of raw comedy for years!! White people, all people, pay to see him!! Love HIM!! In my opinion, his brand of comedy unites the races, even though some (from all races) are offended.
Paul " old skool " Mooney. He is the last of the black comedians from the Era of FOXX, PRYOR, RUDY RAY MOORE , ROBIN HARRIS. All colorful & demented comedic performances only a nigguh with that caliber of extreme talent could perform with such hilarious swag and grace. Paul Mooney and I share the same damn sentiments about Tyler Perry. If you listen closely to him interviews Madea would come out every now and then. I personally think he walks around in drag at home.
