He is very biased towards city, never rational, cannot take criticism, he's too loud, and he just jokes around too much. His laugh used to be entertaining, but now I am just finding him increasingly annoying. I rarely find myself agreeing with anything he says either. I genuinely think he only got the punditry job due to wokeism as a diversity appointment. I can't see why else he would get hired on Sky Sports. If you were an overrated, poor footballer who is also a poor pundit too, what the hell is that person doing on Sky Sports? Why not have Andy Carroll, Scott Sinclair or Aaron Lennon on next as a regular pundit!? That's the point I'm making. At least the likes of Carragher, Neville, Wright, Keane, Henry, Lineker, Souness, Shearer, Alex Scott etc were great players. Richards wasn't a great player so he has to be a great commentator then like Kamara, Savage, Redknapp etc, but Richards isn't either. Him and Owen are the two worst pundits.

Pogba is the most uncity/unguardiola like player I can think of. Pep’s philosophy is based around possession retention, players who are quick on the ball who receive a pass, take one or two touches and then release. Pogba is the opposite of that type of player. In his final season under Sarri he absolutely carried us and won 14 MOTM awards in the PL (same number as Suarez in 13/14). Carragher's got it right and the other two have got it exactly backwards: the player earns the right to play for a top side with their body of work. Skill will never be more important than teamwork, for me. Pogba can be great (if you think he is), but if he's not willing to work as a part of the team, then what is the point to have someone who can dribble a lot and then not plays for the team. This is not futsal, this is football. You have to play with the rest of the team. You lose the ball, you immediately go back and do the best to get it back, not staying in the ground, jogging and then feeling sorry. He's done that for years now. Many of the opposite side teams have scored goals against Man Utd for his mistakes. For me, that's not a United player. That's just someone trying to make a name for himself until a better option comes along. Just look at how much Juan Mata have done in this last couple of games, compared to Pogba. Yes, we've lost with Juan, but we've lost much more with Pogba. He can be world champion with France, but that's a whole other team and circumstance than playing for United weekend in and out. If he wants to leave, be my guest. At least, that's what I think. And finally, if he goes to Man City, that will tell you everything you need to know about what he's looking for right there.

As a Man Utd fan for 38 years, i think the currentam City Midfield line up have no place for a Prima Donna like Pogba. With the world class line up of B silva De Bruyne, Foden, fernandinho, Mahrez, Sterling amd Gundogan. Pogba is not even half the player of foden. Lack alone the more senior man city player.

I dont think that Jamie Redknapp has ever watched France play. They have a system that is designed to get the best out of him. If Man City did that then that takes away from De Bruyne (who is a better player) and it makes them a poorer team. His scoring record for France is actually poor as well, 11 goals in 91 games for an attacking midfielder. Remember that a lot of those games are against the likes of Moldova, Estonia, Faroes etc.
@matttully1904

Redknapp saying "Hasn't he shown glimpses?" After 6 years in the league being hyped as one of the most talented midfielders, you'd hope he would have done significantly more than shown glimpses. I can't believe Pep is even considering this. Either way, for United fans it'll be a relief when he walks out the door. The man is a social media influencer and hairstyle model plagued by a football career. In the nearly 6 years he's been at the club he's had a handful of good 45-minute performances. That is simply not worth the constant speculation, the circus that follows him around, and having to listen to his negative comments about the club every time there's an international break. Man United's form during his second spell at the club might not have lived up to his expectations, but he doesn't want to take any accountability for that either. He wilts under adversity, and needs the team around him to elevate him to the levels we know he has, not the other way around. That's why he performs better for France - N'Golo Kante does all Pogba's running for him. He is a textbook luxury player, and a match made in heaven with PSG. He'll be able to stroll around the pitch with other Galactico-rejects, winning a one-horse race year after year, with no demands being made of him, fizzing beautiful diagonal balls into Messi or Mbappe, and looking good in clips on RU-vid and Instagram.
