Paul, I own 3 PRS SE guitars, The Singlecut, the Custom 24 and the 245. I haven't changed a thing on any of them and I never will. I plan on keeping them all, Forever.

+Green Meanie It's called book matched. They make four boards. They then glue the the boards, sandwich style, to create the thickness and then glue the boards together to create the width. What you probably want is one with a top on it which is a thin piece of wood that's the width and length of the body and of course glued to the body.

Nice interview. I'm sure that people scream for their guitars, if the house is on fire. B.B. King even ran into the building to get his back. It just shows that guitarists are a bit crazy for their axes, if they like them. PRS obviously has done a good job at providing them with such axes!

PRS makes best looking and sounding guitars ever . I have a 10 top and would never get rid of it . I played many hundreds of different guitars and PRS is just beautiful and amazing guitars .

Selling off my S2 Standard. What a rip off for what I got. I could've spent that 1400 on a giggable, vintage guitar for that money. Instead, I got a guitar that won't stay in tune even after a setup, the pick pole pieces constantly sinking into the body cavity, and intense routing out through the front makes it sound like a plasticy hollowbody like sound if I play too loud or accidentally tap the pickguard.

He believe's that if a guitar is 100 dollars there is something wrong with it . . that's i guess it depends on what is bought . And i see harley bentons being continually bought by American buyer's .. and reviewed on youtube . Incidentally the HB's come fitted with Wilkinson parts and wilkinson parts are fitted with other noted brands . Surely that speaks volumes .

+Wall OfNoise The problem with the Korean whammy bar,tuners and nut,is not the tone,is the tuning stabillity.I have a SE Tremonti Custom,it wouldn't stay in tune,to save her live.I had to replace all of these parts.I find it outrageous that they sell the new CE's for 2,500 Euros over here and they don't come with proper hardware.And they advertise it as ''affordable US Made'',even though it's more ''assembled in the US with Korean parts''. Hell,Kiesel/Carvin is making guitars with AAAA flame or quilt tops,that rival PRS' 10 tops(in some cases their bookmathing is better then PRS') and proper hardware(for example they have Schaller OFR's) for far less.A new core-line PRS Cu24 is over 4,000 Euros here,even more with a 10 top,a custom made Carvin CT624,with similar top is only 2,500-2,700,depending on the specs, even with all the extra costs of shipping,VAT/import taxes. Plus,if I want some custom options,like ebony or maple fretboard, I have to pay an arm & a leg for an ''Artist Package'' and I don't even wanna think about how much a Private Stock costs. To sum up this little rant,I love PRS but screw them,my next guitar is gonna be a Kiesel/Carvin,now that they opened their website for direct sales to Europe.

Agreed. I bought an SE Singlecut in '08 and it would not stay in tune period. My Zach Myers and A10e Angelus stay in tune quite well, much better than the old Singlecut. I'm really tempted to grab a Tremonti Custom and bet that'd stay in tune as well. Not sure what they did to improve the tuning stability on these fine guitars to be honest.
