I know its been almost a week but RIP to one of my faves. It was a really difficult day that Monday along with hearing of his passing. He'll continue to live on in his work and all the others' lives he's personally touched 💔
At an autograph signing show in Burbank , Paul Rubins had stopped taking photos and having them printed up immediately for fans as it took too long. It was holding up the long line of persons getting his signed photographs. He made an exception for my disabled son. We have the signed photo of the two of them together up on our wall. A great guy!
So grateful and happy to have been alive to experience the gift of Pee-Wee Herman that Paul brought to the world. RIP Paul, and thank you! You will be missed.
Truth and shame to all the people who lie about his arrests and what he was actually charged for to make him out to a bad person. He never hurt others.
"Please accept my apology for not going public with what I've been facing the last six years. I have always felt a huge amount of love and respect from my friends, fans and supporters. I have loved you all so much and enjoyed making art for you."
Paul Reubens will always be a legendary comedian and personality. Pee Wee's Big Adventure is one of the best comedic yet family-watchable movies ever and Pee Wee's playhouse left a mark on a whole generation. Love you man!
Thank you Paul Rubens for the laughs you gave me in the eighties when I was ages 3 to 10 years old. Pee-Wee Herman will always be apart of my childhood
I too was a dad that watched right along with my kids. Such a fun show and actually educational. Many people back then couldn’t get past the kooky to actually notice. RIP Mr. R.
Besides playing the part of Peewee Herman he was also a great actor. He was PHENOMENAL in the movie Blow! Paul was a muliti talented performer and will be missed! R.I.P. Paul Rubens! AKA (Peewee Herman)
Love you Pee Wee, Paul Rubens, I busted my gut laughing at your hilarious skits, you are loved by billions and you will never be forgotten. God has you in his care now. Rest well funny man.
He never fails to draw me in and make me smile and laugh. A rare talent for doing comedy and serious roles. RIP, Mr. Reubens you'll be remembered for generations to come.
@@Bopig Of course they are. Ask any kid. I remember in the 1990s going to a Q & A with John Kricfalusi , the creator of the Ren and Stimpy Show. He showed 2 episodes that had been banned by Nickleodeon. One of them was called Stimpys First Fart and he was asked why he made a whole episode about a fart.He said it was because kids think farts are funny
I am beyond devastated that Pee Wee is gone. He was the reason that I kept being myself and ok to be strange in life. I will always love Paul Ruebens for being himself and being a part of my life with Pee Wee Herman
@@jedijonesLol I think the person meant Paul the person, not the character he portrayed, Pee-Wee Herman, as everyone always seen him as Pee-Wee and never himself.
I remember one summer I had poison ivy so bad I couldn't do anything but stay inside covered in calamine lotion watch movies and eat ice cream, we had a VCR like all the cool people and I must have watched Pee Wees big adventure a hundred times. RIP PAUL
I never realized that what he does is a type of clowning. Clowns are pretty individual. He's not your standard bozo-type clown, but he is definitely a clown.
Wow even as a little sister would be proud great job Leno you deserve credit for bringing out the real Paul Rubin now maybe could I have one of your classic cars 😢 I was born in 54 but any sixty's Will make me happy I allways looked forward to Your show Jonny Was right 👍 to choose You..
Paul was so sexy. His actual voice was also sexy, just so soothing! I miss him dearly, and will never let anyone forget this sweet man and his legacy. May his memory forever be a blessing. ♥
Yep. Florida had it our for him when his biggest crime was masturbating in the theater and it was obscene that they convicted him of obscenity for vintage photos that were freely legally available on the internet.
@@govinda102000I always wondered if the local cops busted him just to brag that they busted a celebrity... Definitely poor judgement for a celebrity to go to a porn theater, esp. in 1991 when VCRs and cable were making them obsolete....
I wonder if his 1991 arrest had never occured if we would have ever known the real Paul Reubens we see today? I for one am very glad Paul didn't permanently disappear into obscurity after that incident because this is a funny man. He simply made a mistake but it's interesting how all those who were so appalled and so outspoken against Paul have themselves done equally bad things - or WORSE, only no one knows about it. Paul Ruebens is a winner.
Yeah definitely, i think even if that never happened, at some point, we would have found out his real identity, he would have came out and talked about it, maybe not then but later on.
