I met Paul Rodgers in New Orleans in the French Quarter. He is as nice as he is talented. He sings so many songs with New Orleans in the lyrics. It just seemed right to see him there in 1983. He performs this song just great, just like everything he sings.

I saw Paul do this twice, once with Slash and once with Neil Schon, both Great versions. Neil and Paul"s was the best though, IMHO. This song has never been done better then Paul's versions, best by far! I've seen him several times with Whitehorn and sad to say they never covered this on the nights I had seen them.

I love Paul Rodgers but I really don't care for this. I love the song but Eric Burden and the Animals own this song. The guitars on this song sound a bit insulting, like some sort of twang for Asian people. If someone is going to say, wtf, that's OK. This is just my take. This is NOT the way I want to hear this song, not at all.
