Keep on dropping these storytelling videos. As a 32 year old, they take me back and it sure was an incredible era for skateboarding. Stoked to see how its evolved, especially on the womens and kid side of skateboarding. None of it would be where it is today without all you guys!
I’m 30. My first pair of SB’s were a pair of prod 2’s I ordered out of the CCS catalog. Crazy red, navy, and teal colorway. I was super stoked and excited. Completely destroyed them. I wish I kept em just to have em but they were completely blown out.
please do a PROD 3 v2! a shoe like this nowadays would be so clean to skate in but also streetwear for todays style. If there was ever a perfect time in life to do it, its gotta be now 😭
Prod 3 is my favorite skate shoe still till this day. I would skate to my high school everyday and just play “Today was a good day” and immerse myself like I was in the commercial. Everything that could go perfect on my way to and after school sessions did (in my mind) It’s really a moment in my life where everyday was a good day. Thank you Paul
Paul such a skate legend man. Every kid in the 2000’s looked up to this kid then. Can’t believe how fast time has passed I’m 29 now he’s almost 40. I wish I had money back then to be able to buy his product. It’s hard finding old plan b decks now of his. Never got to meet him but maybe someday.

I grew up skating, mostly es Etnies and emerica, but I remember I had the p rod 2. Really hope to bring back some of the old p rods. The p rod 8 was the first shoe I ever spent over $100 on
I traded a pair of these for a board and a pair of trucks.. the black and red pair. At the time I really needed the board and trucks, but I completely regretted it because I hated the trucks and the board had too long of a wheelbase. These were one of the best looking skate shoes ever made. One of the biggest mistakes I ever made

The white leather pair have a special place in my heart because those were one of the best skateboarding shoes I’ve skated. They’re perfect in looks and comfortability, only if Nike can just retro/Re release the P-Rod collection over time with out making them limited. Then I think a lot of new and old skaters could appreciate a part of skateboarding history with the different designs and technology of back then without worrying about resellers.
Your first black and white shoe was my favorite and I thought of that as a Raiders color way so it was cool to see you mention that on the black pair you showed. My first pair ever was the tan one. Loved your skate shoes ever since! What the Paul was able to scratch the itch for some of the ones I was never able to get! My other favorite is the Futura collab, it was my first ever hyped SB!

As a sneaker head since 2005 (born in 95) the P-Rod 3 is my favorite shoe ever. Skated the green suede and bread color ways until they had holes in the soles, heels and kickflip spots. Really regret it now though because I’ll never be able to afford another pair.
I just want you to know, I’ve been a die hard fan since your street cinema part with city stars. I rode my board all the way to my local mall in Portland or to buy that tape the day it released. After seeing that part, you became my favorite skater of all time, and to me, the goat. My favorite rapper has always been Nas, and I’m a devout believer, like you. Amen lol. You mention all those greats you looked up to, and I looked up to them as well, but you were right up there with them. Much love P.
Never had the 3s, but skated the life out of my black and gold prod 2s. Loved that shoe so much and was my first SB from what I remember, comfortable and lasted me forever
The way I was flexing on EVERY non skater that didn’t give a shit when I had the p-rod 3s in middle school 😮💨 had the bred and the blue ones too. One of the best I’ve ever skated to this day
My senior year I got my first pair of Nike sb shoes the prod 3s!! The black/red elephant color, I was so stoked on them! Wish I bought another pair when I had the chance.
Was just getting into skating this year. I remember watching the commercial everyday & holding the display model everytime i was at the skateshop haha. Need a rerelease cause i never actually got to own a pair

Nike SB needs to retro more of your old models. With how much chunkier sneakers have been trendy I feel like any PRod 1-3 would do well as a retro model.
Those are my favorite pair too. I love the prod3. I had the Doernbecher, the blue ones and red ones. And a few days ago i bought the blue ones again. And the prod2 white and blue
I agree. These NEED a reissue. I remember holding the white ones in my hands at my local skate shop when they released. I, like a dumbass, didn't get them and went with the P Rods 2 because they were on sale. Lol. I really regret not getting these.

My first p rod shoes were the threes, in the green suede color way. They reminded me of the Mexican flag! They were my favorite shoes and I tried my hardest to take care of them 😭😭
A white suede would have been awesome , had like 7 pairs of these , the p rod 2.5’s and the vulc rods were good too 🔥👌🏽👌🏽prod 4’s we’re elite awesome commercial w NAS too!
