@@isaaccaceres5558 i remember when p rod pretty much replaced koston as the switch goat. people forget that koston used to flip into hand rails switch.
I think heelflips are my most consistent trick because of how much haptic feedback I get. Kick flips are only felt on the corner of your foot but when you heel flip you can feel it scrape against the entire side.
that's an interesting way of thinking of it. I feel like kickflips take significantly less effort since you can just put your foot close to the middle of the board and as long as your foot is slanted it'll flip, you really don't have to flick too hard. Basically an ollie with extra steps.
@@brandonjennen3673 yes I do. clearly. you obviously don't know enough to try and correct one of the most successful and talented pro skaters of the 2000's
@@brandonjennen3673 they are the same foot orientation but nollie is off the the nose and switch is off the tail of the board. Most skateboards have similar noses and tails so it’s hard to notice but just think about doing it on a penny board or something
Paul classes himself av regular and goofy he skates them both amazing so that’s probably why he’s just said nollie heel but I know what u mean pal anyone else would just call it switch 😂
People who never stepped on a skateboard will never understand . Took me a month to Ollie when I was 10 years old and I was rocking Spider-Man light up shoes from Payless.
You know what’s weird with heel flips, I used to teach at Woodward and younger kids pick that up so much easier than kickflips. Then as the years go on it reverses. Happened to me too. Kinda odd.
Where I grew up skating, everyone had kicks on lock but it just would not stick with me...I could catch the occasional one, but heels I could stomp out for days. They all use to rag on me for having heels but not kickflips... oh and I could tre 6/10 tries, even when my kicks were 3/10 tries. never understood that!
@@yesitsmecsd well don’t fret my friend that’s pretty much normal 😂. I think kids think kickflip first so they work on it first. I really don’t know why but the heel comes a lot more naturally for kids if they try it.
Could land nollie heelflips pretty easily about the time I stopped skating but I never pulled one off out of a combo. Always wanted to do a fakie half-cab 180 up onto a large box into a nose manual and then nollie heelflip out. Tried em. Hadn’t landed em yet. I could pull a nollie big spin out of those though or a nollie shove-it.
Saskatchewan hell flop! Edit: Switch heel flip may be slightly more accurate. 'Can't really nollie while standing still now, can ya? Better Edit: I fully accept and support those who may prefer to identify as, "Nollie"! ✌️
I get that it’s fashion but isn’t it anoying to like pull your pants up abit when skating, I think in terms of skating the short trousers made the most sence, this baggy stuff goes over my head.
