Whoa, this is a blast from the past!
in October 2008, I uploaded a deaths montage video of Crash Bandicoot 3 (Warped), and now, more than 5 years later, it's time for Crash to suffer again as I do one for Crash Bandicoot 2!
Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be quite as much variety in this one as there was in 3, but I wanted to do this anyway.
I also plan to do one of these for the first game at some point, hopefully not too many years away this time!

Yeah, it's a shame that the deaths in this game don't have as much variety as the ones in Crash 3. Still, it's great that you use the same humour for this video as you did in the original one! Also... "Be careful with these pipes. They're very hot." Where's that from?

It's good that the humour style thing felt the same to you, I specifically tried to do it like I did back then, with the "Oh!". And the pipes quote is from the Lost TV series, I don't know why that's the quote I remember the most from it, but I've always found it funny for some reason.

I wouldn't recommend doing a death montage for the first game, considering there's only a few different deaths: dizzy and falling (which is what you'll see most of the time), falling down pit, burned, splash, eaten, thrown off warthog, crushed by Boulder, and blown up.

Yeah, there was already less in this one compared to Crash 3, and the lack of death variety is the main reason I haven't gotten around to it. Pretty much the only reason I want to is for completion, but I don't know if I ever will.

Piece of Pie Software Now, Wrath of Cortex on the other hand has more variety with it's deaths, on par with Warped...at least as Crash that is. As Coco, there's only 4: Dizzy Coco sits and faints, angelfication, pitfall, and drowning.

Who would of known it would of taken you 6 years to do the next one, If you would of told me that back in 2008 my jaw would drop, And then I'd probably ask you if you knew the future, and if you said yes, I'd ask you if doom 4 came out yet, And then you tell me no, And then my jaw would drop even wider.

I think after the other video, I'd always wanted to do one for the previous 2 games, but I suppose it just slipped out of my mind at some point. It was weird to do it again now.

Take it this is the American version. The European one lets you select a language (e.g. English, Spanish, French, German and Italian) before you play.

It may have been, I don't remember for sure. I had some NTSC discs back then, but not sure if this was one of them.

@@PieceOfPieSoftware I am assuming so. I've also started to watch the Japanese version of the Crash Bandicoot game series on RU-vid. Also, have you played the recent N. Sane Trilogy version? I have got it for XBOX ONE. Don't wish to spoil it for you, but I think it is a little bit more hard than the original games, especially parts of Crash 1 and 3 if you are attempting to get 100% completion.

@@douglasmacrae8947 Indeed I have, live streamed the PS4 version, which is uploaded over on my other RU-vid channel: PieceOfPieLive. It certainly felt harder in some ways, especially slipping off edges due to his weird hitboxes, but I very much enjoyed it. Except the time trials. That's not my thing.

Probably this one. I don't like that you have to not die in a level to be able to get the gem for all boxes in the first game, and I don't like the time trials or vehicle levels of Warped. This one has none of that, and it was my first PS1 game, so I have the best memories and the most fun playing it.
