George being overshadowed by MacLennon was beneficial, at least in that it shielded him from some of the scrutiny that would've revealed his full character. For the most part, he managed to maintain his squeaky-clean, and enlightened, image by redirecting attention from himself to J & P.
@@jaelge that's true and he watched and lived with two of the greatest song writers and became one himself. For a while he resented the Beatles days in interviews but once age mellowed him he would say well it certainly didn't hurt my career to have been a bearle.

He will never sell it. Paul rarely sells anything. This is his London home and it is very regularly used. His neighbours ‘protect’ him and don’t annoy him. I’ve never been there and out of respect so should everyone else. It’s not for tourists
