They dont make em like this anymore, they cant theyre isnt the wealth of talent that there was then, nowadays its all ex comedians and they are not as good as comedy actors, except for such as Peter Kay who writes all his own stuff.

A fabulous actor and a genuinely lovely man. Hi-de-Hi is a brilliant series and was quality viewing in the 1980s. If the USA 🇺🇸 had Cheers, then the UK 🇬🇧 had this series. Thanks for the memories Mr Shane ❤ 😊
