I almost cried when I saw that picture on the wall behind his parents: Old Kountry peasants working the land so their family can survive and prosper. Then Poytr works his way out of meagre means and into the NHL, now Paul works 1000 games to stay there. Priviledge, my ass. Well done Paul, and all who earn their way
Started watching hockey in 06, was the Oilers made a run for the cup, I remember Stastny being one of those names you hear on TV, and in the games, crazy to think he's been around for that long! Congrats on a long career.

Just because somebody doesn't follow every move of Paul Stastny's career doesn't mean they live under a rock. It's not like that trade was a blockbuster deal. Stastny's in the latter half of his career. How about instead of ridiculing people, you actually help them.
