Through the years, Mr Thorn's songs have made me laugh, cry, think and even sometimes understand something that I didn't quite get before. It's very obvious that Mr Thorn loves his family, friends and his Savior Jesus Christ. If you have never heard him sing gospel or Christian music, you should take the time to do so.
Leonard DSL sorry for the late reply. "To buy the farm" is an old joking reference to death which was made famous by U.S. government insuring the lives of our soldiers. If a soldier died they said they bought the farm. This is in reference to the soldier's family using the money to pay off their family farm.
Nice video. I love the Song and it's meaning - don't get me wrong I resect this version being the first but I feel the Sawyer brown cover is the better of the 2. The song just fits Mark Millers voice better. :)

Mark Jesus came to save people who know they r sinners and need a savior. He created you, he loves you, he isn't afraid of the darkness of your sin, he paid the price on a rugged old cross for you already. U can find healing in his arms and forgiveness just ask him today.
You can! Just open your heart and ask him in, and he will listen! You might not see oceans part or other big miracles, but Rome wasn't built in a day! Take the little miracles with gratitude, and make note of them every day. Pretty soon, they really start to add up! Then, on dark days, not only will you have practice at opening your heart, but you will have a list of blessings you can go back and review. Both practices will make you feel better!
