There is the repentance unto salvation (2 Corinthians 7:10-12) which is one time, and then there is the daily and life-long repentance of the believer when they slip and fall in their Christian walk (1 John 1:8-9). Hence in the next verse he said "however may Your(God's) will be done, not mine". Besides, Jesus prophesied about His death so many times in the gospels, so did the prophets before Him (eg Isaiah), so if matthew 26:39 refuted the idea that Jesus died for our sins, then that would make Jesus a liar and an untrustworthy person since He was inconsistent with His teachings

@@peterelijah1981 i can't understand what you are saying (it's out of context, wrong spelling and wrong grammar ). but i don't agree with your pastor Paul, he said "the problem is with the attributes of God". No it's not. It's our sins that separated us from God.

@@oxygentank00 Its smiple when sharing about attributes.hes say what God is HOLY. Yet he is not unholy. So do we as Christian live that life that reflects hus attributes or our own in the sinful nature. Its our Depraved state that contradicts truth and give way to halfheart living this is sinful and not. Changed life that demanstrates true salvation.but counterfeits of belifes in religious people. Our sins are or curses therefore if you still practice sins or sining you have not repented its a false salvarion. Also we are to warn ourselves and others of living in sins and for its wages is eternal hell to all that reject the love of the truth. Apples are apples but if its left uncared for it roots so dose a make believer. The cross. And the blood saves but do we carry the cross of suffering in the truth and are we really covered in the blood or do we trample it unddr foot like Pharisees that jesus spoke about. Your pride is in your education which never grants your truth and peace and joy and you lack love agreat deal. I was winning souls to salvation before you were born and im still teaching holiness . your caught up in attributes move on. To undetstamding repentance if God permites because you think your so smart. Then tell me whens the last day.week or year you were used by the Holy spirit to lead a lost so To God in repentance and salvation this year more then 5o in my walk of salvation.not including other years. Now dont lie before the holy spirit and don't mention anything else .tell me now before a Holy God How many souls have you. Been used by the holy spirit this year? are you continuing in sin thinking God has already died so you're saved for eternity? Has Christ's love convicted you and have you been transformed?? Has your old self been crucified and have you been born again? Have you allowed Christ and Holy Spirit to live through you? Have you been bearing the fruits worthy of repentance? Fruits of the Holy Spirit? Do you hate sin or do you still love it and are still living in it?? Your old self?

No freedom for christian in this world. We long for the freedom in His coming kingdom that christian, true christian, are finally free....freedom for not committing sin.

True Christians do have an abundance of freedom in this world because they have received the true gospel and have true eternal security. And truly know that the work of the cross is finished and that they are ETERNALLY sealed
