He's so much greater than what I can comprehend. Every time I feel like I've learned alot about who Christ is, I catch another glimpse of Him and I realize that I haven't even reached the base of His mountain. He just imprisons your mind and you can't help but to fall into 1,000 pieces because of the greatness and majesty of who He is. Jesus Christ is awesome, in the most absolute sense of the term, He is awesome.
Psalms 103:10 is absolutely sobering: 10 He has not dealt with us as our sins deserve or repaid us according to our iniquities. What we deserve vs what we've been given is incomprehensible. All I can do is thank Him, praise Him, and obey Him. 🙏🙏🙏

When we give our lives to Christ, we don’t lose our youth, we gain it. Some of us lost our youth, but we gained our adulthood. As we grew older, we just went with whatever the world told us, whatever the lies we ate told us to believe, act, or say. But now, we have Christ. So to some of us it feels as if we wasted our childhood, maybe even our whole lives… but that doesn’t matter, because we have gained a new life ( 2 Corinthians 5:17). One that is infinite and not finite. So we were dead before, even though we were considered as living, even though we had “life” we truly didn’t. But now, we know for a fact that we do have life, which is found in Christ Jesus only!! (John 14:6) So it doesn’t matter whether we wasted our whole youth/ childhood or even some some parts of our adulthood because in Christ, we have gained a new life. To some of us, this is where our youth starts, to others it is where our adulthood truly begins.

This may be off target but I increasingly have been thinking that Hagar in her long suffering should be considered to have 'the heart of Christian obedience'. Think of it, Sarah dealt harshly with her and she ran away: 'the angel of the LORD' finds her, gives her a promise, and tells her to submit to her mistress (submit to the harshness). She returns, births Ishmael, and then when Isaac and Ishmael play, Sarah commands that Abraham accept Hagar be cast into the wilderness. She is cast out by her husband with bare provision alone with her young son, runs out of water, casts Ishmael under the bush, and waits. God appears, the angel of God speaks, and God heard the voice of the lad. A promise is given to her in the wilderness, her eyes are opened, yet she remains in the wilderness (we hear no more of her in the book of Genesis). Her faith to the promise and love of her son had her accept her harsh treatment which took her to the very end: the water gone, and the son cast, a slave woman alone in the wilderness. The Bible is not always about us, actually it should not be, but that we should fall in love with others.

In my soul my heart I've wanted to tell people that we need to wake up and open our eyes n ears..we live in the world too much...we make excuses for ourselves to choose the easiest paths ..we need to understand that the path is narrow and it's easy only with the comforter.and we can not receive the comforter untill we see and hear for ourselves read our Bible see the truth..and love GOD with all your heart n soul.bc we r nothing without him.bit I'm a woman and i feel i am not supposed to preach or stand up among men. But i will continue with my family and ones close to me and pray GOD leads me to only he's will..i want to know Jesus and i want Jesus to know me my fruit I want too be glorified on GOD WILL

I know of a couple in life and a few in public (among famous) and you are not upsetting me .i was muslim before i bacame christian..i was raised to believe GOD os everywhere n you need not go to church to find him but most of my family was pentacostal (free) holliness.although i learned a little n went to church several times in my youth i could never let myself understand how can they be worshiping jesus .it states in thier own bible that GOD is a jealous GOD and worship or have no other GODs before me! ..and to me that was plain and clear.although i respected jesus so much i knew i set my heart mind and soul on GOD and i knew GOD is the only GOD i was to worship..years i felt cut off from GOD not feeling like i had any understanding or any firm belief anout anything in life .i only knew GOD existed n i was to worship no other GODs !..i meet two muslim yoing men around the age of 18/19 and i questioned them untill i drove them crazy about everything to do with islam because i finally found a religion that made sense.bismillah er rah mn er ra heim .....i learned my prayers quick for it was GODs language and come to me quickly.prayers and alpabet....yet something still would not sit right..i prayed and would study all religions hard and expesually quran..i knew i had found my religion but i couldnt feel a connection i knew i needed with him to be able to survive in this cruel world..there was an emptiness i could not fill..at my hardest time my darlest hours..i picked up the holy bible king james version .and i began to read it fully..as i had done the quran and others before yet some reason never actually read the holy bible for myself..i still do not know why Only GOD does .maybe i was not ready yet..but i read and read and seemed to be hard to find a stopping place at times..(very unlike me because i do not like to read..study yes but read no..if u think about it it makes sense i study areas at a time...ok moving on .the truth sets you free is the best way to describe my reaction or what happend to me not even mid way ..i finally understood..everything i knew WITHOUT A DOUBT IN MY SOUL WAS CLEAR N TJE WORLD BEGAN TO MAKE SENSE AND AS SOON AS I UNDERSTOOD WHO JESUS TRULY IS THAT WHOLE INSIDE BEGAN TO FILL..AND idk how to explain this to u..read for yourself ..not listening to anyone else not anyone..u read for yourself and if the gaps inside you are not filled or beginning to fill then read again w an open heart.what do u have to loose? The heart of Christian obedience is the First Commandment; faith which worketh by love. Paul's point is well takn.But if the love of God is not shed abroad in our hearts, "obedience," if there's any at all, will be mechanical.
Pastor Paul, I have a hard time to find a chuch to worship My God, I'm from Brazil but live in Canada. For the last 5 years it's been very difficult for me and my two kids to fellowship, the reason is, most the Christian church be guide by men no by God. Sometimes your body can do things that is country to God's will due to mental health conditions. As a pastor I would be very careful in the way you correct people if you do not know them inside out. For example I kept getting into trouble at school and I came from a Christian family and my mother heard me from behind the door praying to god begging him to "make me a good boy". In my heart of hearts I desperately wanted to be a good young man and represent Christ the way he should deserves but due to my mental health conditions I found the extremely difficult so be damn careful how you correct your flock
A great message once again it is a blessing to have access to his sermons. Although if I’m totally honest - I do struggle every time I hear the part of his sermon where he talks about the man who is so in love with his wife, where it’s not because he’s a great man but because he has a great wife.. I know that on its face it isn’t the point of what he’s teaching, but it’s distracting how much I wish to be the kind of wife who inspires such an attitude in her husband.

If only the audience and the speaker understood the scriptures spoken in this message they would not be sitting in a temple made with hands listening to a hireling who preaches for gain. The ones in the pews are in the house of slavery and the speaker is the object of their idolatry. The many believe they are the few and cannot think any differently unless Christ comes WITHIN them to teach understanding of the scriptures. I still marvel at how helpless we are to see and understand scripture until the time appointed by the Father.
