Four Pillars of Walking with God - Paul Washer 

I have struggled on and off over the past 10 yrs on my walk with Christ to discern true teachings from not true teachings. However, I have come to recognise a pattern in certain teachers of the word who continually tell us to read our bibles. That Gods word is the primary source in which we can hear from God, then they follow this statement with speaking on prayer. We must pray always, followed by learnings about the Holy Spirit. These preachers always base their teachings straight out of the word of God without twisting or distorting the words. There are only three teachers I know listen to today as appose to ten or more as early as a year back. These teachers are David Hernandez, John MacArthur and Paul Washer. These Guys knock my socks off with their teachings and they all convey the same messages around how important and imperative it is to read the Gospel and keep on reading it. They speak of prayer and the importance and significant s of this practice and lastly I love hearing teachings from David Hernandez on the Holy Spirit. Now obviously they talk about a lot more however, between these three teachers they share so much a like. Paul Washer is probably my favourite because he speaks with so much passion, intensity and seems to also really care about our salvation or lack of it from young people to the more mature. Paul has really convicted me on the true necessity of reading the word, so much so that I am starting from the beginning and reading, meditating on what I read and at the same time, learning to memorise scripture. Through listening to the teachings of Paul I have realised that the more l immerse myself in Gods word the more I seperate myself from the world. I wish to thank Paul for his truth in sharing the Gospel. In my heart I do not feel that I am being falsely led. May our Lord and Saviour continue to use Paul John and David in delivering solid scripture. I’m reminded of 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man be thoroughly equipped for every good work. That you my brother Paul, May God continue to use you in speaking His truth to many. Shalom 🕊️🙏🙂

What has he done for me? - to look at God in the light of the gospel. - He is for me. - "If God is for me, then who can be against me?" - What has God decreed? -He fixed everything for us, that's why we have Joy. - to believe them & faith in what is true will always lead to joy in Christian life. The knowledge of knowing the truth about what God has done for you. 2. Joy comes before obedience. Joy is the result of what God has done, not our performance. - you can never have joy by looking at your own reflection in the mirroe

Not the first time this has been true, but it’s exactly what I needed. I’m reminded of a song lyric by certain parts of this message: “[You’re] as graceful and green as a stem, and I walk heavy on the delicate ground…Oh, there I go, showing off again, self-impressed by how well I can put myself down. And there I go again, to the next further removed level of that same exact feigned humility, and this for me goes on and on to the point of nausea.” I get stuck in this sort of negative feedback loop all the time. This message illustrates the way out. Praise God!

This is great, I have to spend all my hours in my days looking up these phrases like “lean into God, pray without ceasing, study the scriptures, God provides, be still….” How does God provide? I’m looking everywhere and praying for it… it says don’t be lazy, be still, don’t have an idol mind, work with your hands… I want to do it all. How does this work for me… I need clothing for the winter… it’s getting cold, I want to get to the church and keep warm doing it.

I'm so blessed to have a teacher in God's truth n biblical truth . Since I lost my pastor Art stockston California . I tell my wife daily how blessed we are to have a teacher. Keep doing what God sends you to do..all praise Helps me correct myself, to be in a biblical marriage and a Fruitful MAN OF GOD

He’s never failed , or never will! idk much as I mentioned haven’t heard secval spurgeon quotes, but I believe you did. Their will be more people in heaven than he’ll. ? It’s given me hope and I see how much Christ loved a sinner like me , I do apologize been in the word at the Chrurch today been a very blessed day and headed back to talk baptism , great serve a good good Fatherall His ways are perfect . Idk much of anything yet minus Christ And Christ , however today I got the feeling perhaps I may labeled a realist, not really understanding much I hear you when you speak joy comes before obedience . I have the understanding that my good good master He has everything In my best interest therefore I gladly surrender all. And yes things I us to try to cast down in the name of the gospel to prove I love Him finally I see it Faith IN Christ alone ! Whosoever is for Christ ….. Its harder to stay and listen to the Talks when the speaker continues to talk from a Lecturing stance. Usage of the “ YOU “ More often than, Including himself in needing spiritual growth, fruits, and wisdom - I find that approach hard to listen to. But thank you for posting this

Why dont these pastors tell their flock who America is in the book of Revelation? Why do you never see them telling about the 2300 year prophecy in Daniel. Why dont they discuss the judgement which has been going on since 1844.

This man should preach in the Catholic church and take that extra step he needs to be complete. The sadness in his eyes and demeanor that says he's missing something rips into my soul.
