Now I will be preaching about how to receive the Holy Spirit and be 100% going to Heaven. First, it’s only by the grace of God that he gives you faith in Jesus Christ in order to give up your sins. It’s only by the grace of God that he leads you to pray to him to destroy all your evil desires of watching TV or any sinful desires. When you pray to God to destroy all your evil desires of watching TV or sinful desires (Romans 6:6-7 and Galatians 5:24), Satan will intervene and extremely tempt you in watching the TV. But if it’s God’s will and if you are one of God’s elects, you will overcome it and God will destroy all your evil desires of watching TV. After God has destroyed all your evil desires of watching TV and if you are one of God’s elects, you receive the joy of the Holy Spirit for about 40 minutes. After the joy wears off, all existence of boredom no longer exists and you no longer burn out (psychology) anymore. That is when you have received the Holy Spirit Then it’s by the grace of God that he forgives you of your sins, as you confess and repent of your sins throughout your life which is called sanctification. It's the WORD. The purer the word (the more accurately) the more zeroed in it is preached, the more delightful and exhilarating it is. It's also the Holy Spirit in you giving you the desire to hear God's word and confirming its power. Paul Washer does not water anything down. Yes, sometimes God's word can seem hard, difficult, confusing, convicting. But that's on the part of the hearer who may not have complete understanding.

That's great. I went through the same thing you did. Had my moment of regeneration in 2020 and I'm super spiritual but that's because of my Spiritual Awakening and TF journey situation. I know that God got my back through his mercy because he loves his children. How has your life been post regeneration as according to all of it, it's permanent, we are forever in him because we believe in him. Amen, god bless.

The Holy Spirit is changing me by his power. My desire is to draw closer to God. I want to have a relationship with God. I hate sin. God changed my view on sin and showed me how disgusting it is.

+Red Shift Hello I know exactly what you mean. What has helped me with those feelings is learning that it is the work of Satan to make us feel that way. He wants us to feel guilty and shame of our pass. Everyone has a PASS!! We have ALL falling short of the grace of GOD, but by HIS LOVE, GRACE and MERCY you and I are now saved, living a completely different life than before. +Red Shift Red Shift, praise God if you have repented and turned your back on your old life, and that you feel disgust, hate for your sin. But you must now look to Christ. You must look to what Christ did on the cross for you. He died so that you could be forgiven of your sins and so that you could be washed cleaned and so you could have a relationship with the Father. Forsaking your sin and looking to Christ ... believing that his death was sufficient to cover your sin will bring healing, forgiveness and restoration (a time of refreshing from the Lord ...Acts 3:19). If you have truly repented, you must look to Christ and God will cleanse your guilty conscience. You must believe what the Word of God says about how Christ came to save and restore you. Meditate on scripture. May I recommend that you read Romans chapter 5 and 1 John chapter 3. Also, my prayer for you is Ephesians 3:14-19. Meditate on God's word constantly ... not your feelings or your past. I would also like to remind you that Satan as well as our own our flesh would rather beat us up than just accept the love and forgiveness of Christ. It's like doing penance ... remember the old priests, monks that would flog themselves ... our conscience can do the same thing if we let it. If you are repentant about your sin, glory to God, now you only need to look to Son of God for salvation and keep looking to Him. As you do meditate on God's truth constantly (instead of your past), you will soon be able to be secure in the love of God. Faith comes by hearing the word of God ... don't lean on your own understanding. When Satan assaults you with your past say, "Yes, it's true. But, Christ died for me. He has saved me, washed me, cleansed me and me new. Now, I belong to Him. Glory to God, my sins are washed away ... God remembers them no more .... as far as the East is from the West ... so have my sins been removed from me." God's truth will set you free. God bless you.

Many Christians aren't even aware of this truth of how a person is saved, and so they just think that praying a prayer means you're a true Christian and it's destroying the "church" and defaming God. Many people are not saved but think they are because they've idolized man's free will.

Mostly because it’s a Calvinistic term regarding the doctrine of election, that God predestined those who would be saved and not before the foundation of the world “before they have done good or bad” part of “ordo salutis” if you look it up

Regenerated people are new creatures who have new desires to please God and we have the ability to obey God now. Yes, we will sin but not living a lifestyle of sin continuously, because God disciplines us back on the path of righteousness.

My friend, to be Christian is not only to love God but to fear him, to fear him is to know him and to know him is to be wise (proverbs 9:10). If you don't fear God, it is because you do not know him nor the attributes that make God, God. If the word of God is read in faith from Genesis to Revelations, you will fear and there will be trembling at times. In Jeremiah 32:40 the Lord proclaims that he will keep fear in our hearts lest we turn and perish, are you fearful of the Lord? Examine your faith my friend because if you are not, it may be because you are not of Christ, born again. How do you view God?..Examine.

I always thought that the fear that the bible meant wasn't literally fear, it was more like recognizing he is God and giving him the place that he deserves, because he is God. @@anuraghpaul9772 It is believed that attributing the works/miracles of the Holy Spirit to Satan is the sin against the Holy Spirit. Have you heard of Charles Spurgeon? I also had difficulties thinking that I could never been forgiven but, after listening to his sermons, I have been encouraged and faith has been given to me to keep looking to Heaven, to Jesus. I remember mainly this passage, that Jesus can save to the uttermost, perfect salvation, where no guilt is left to us. By saying you cursed, this tells me you're a sinner and know it. Jesus is no small savior. As a matter of fact, there is no sin that Jesus' blood can't wipe clean. He can save to the uttermost. The instance we have in the Bible of what the sin against the Holy Spirit was, was against those who believed they were good enough, not sinners, they could see enough, not poor souls who walked in the darkness and lost who needed a savior. Jesus is Savior for lost sinners, who offended God and has no hope and need a savior to intercede for them, to plead for them before God. There is a reason God didn't send a super angel to die for us, but his very and only Son. God has no obligation to listen to any creature, but he will and always listen to his Son, of whom he said he put all his love, affection in. As Christians, we will be tempted and be overcome by sin at times, but We won’t stay in that lifestyle, but will be convicted by God to repent and live righteously. Our new converted nature (in-dwelt by the Holy Spirit) will see to that. Romans 7:24-25; Romans 8:7-11

Unless a person is regenerated, they have no desire to believe in anything except themselves and a god of their own imagination. Before we were regenerated, we were dead in sins. We loved our sins more than we loved God. So yes, regeneration comes before Faith in anything outside of ourselves. Calvinism is not the issue. Christ is. Look at the Golden chain of redemption in Romans 8:29-30. There has to be a call before we are justified which is another word for regenerated by the blood of Christ.

Tim Lewis Make sure you're going to the scriptures for your understanding of someone born again and someone lost. ie the book of 1 John. As a true Christian reads and studies the scriptures and spends time with other obedient Christians, they won't be tempted very much with these sins you've mentioned because of the indwelling Holy Spirit within them.
