It was 1982 or 1983, I am sitting in the living room of my Mom's house. (I did not know it then but severe depression had taken hold) someone that I sort of knew came to the door, and making small talk, asked me what I was listening to. I had four albums in my hand. One Peter Green, one Allen Toussaint, and two by The Jam. Music kept me alive. Saved my life . Thanks man. Still here today to hear this and loving it.

Said this before in a few comments relating to the genius of "Paul Weller", and I don' t mind repeating myself... this guy may be the mod father of music... and rightly so :) ..but I also put him personally, in the status of "The Chameleon of Music". Ever changing moods ring a bell!. This fella has consistently reinvented himself musically... and continues to surprise us all with his talents. Long may he reign :)

Saw The Jam back in 1977, and they were fantastic. Forty-three years later, Paul Weller is still making classy songs. He has nothing left to prove to anybody. Great stuff.

Weller doesn't get better with age....to be honest he has made a lot of lame solo albums in recent years..he seems to be releasing a new album every 6 months and I just do not bother to keep up anymore..I just went off him as I got older...I love The Jam and In my opinion his last great song was "Mr. Clean" in 1978....The last Weller album I bought was "Wild Wood"......his lame R' an B albums just do not cut it for me...he will never ever be Steve Marriott, Steve Winwood or Curtis Mayfield in my opinion...having said that I LOVE Paul Weller...but sorry he peaked in 1981

Finalmente un'altro italiano come me che apprezza Paul Weller, mi fa' tanto piacere, grazie, quando venne a Roma nel 2015, almeno dove stavo io, sotto il palco o aspettando che entrasse di italiani ce ne erano pochi, si figuri nel 1995 al Teatro Palladium, sempre a Roma! Era ancora più di nicchia!

Gli Style Council sono stati la mia colonna sonora degli anni 80 (non sapevo ancora dei Jam), anche se la mia estrazione musicale è più rock (come vedi dall'immagine del profilo..) Credo che la sua voce e stile siano inconfondibili, quasi ammalianti. Non delude mai. È l'ultima vera rock star ancora in circolazione. Purtroppo non ho avuto la fortuna come la tua di vederlo dal vivo.

This is the Paul Weller I love. I totally understand he wants to experiment with music. For me over the last 10 years it's been hit or miss. But that's what great about him. He does what feels right for him and his music. This album for me is brilliant. Seen him play live several times and still appreciate the stuff I dont like. That's what music is all about. Cant wait to see you in 2021.

I’ve been listening to and loving Paul since circa 1982 and I’m just simply in awe of how he keeps creating, re-creating and on the latest album, he has produced (what it would seems to be) his best album in over a decade - and this is when I just didn’t ever think he could get better - gosh, he’s good

NATHAN!!! I got so excited when I saw him & this felt so nostalgic and I thought about Nathan & his pops and I was so damn happy watching this. There is a melancholy to all of LA but especially on Sunset. I love the British telly plopped in the 'modern' home with Edward Hopper imagery. Truly brilliant, I can't stop listening... I love this entire album!

What a beautiful, dreamy song with the melancholy one feels when things are of another time in the past, how life changes, and yet there are still somethings in life, like a sunset in this song to bring joy, i feel like this, i think a lot of people feel their lives belong to another time, at least part of their lives are no longer able to be sustained, time moves on so to speak Thanks, Terri Leckner, Montreal

Absolutely beautiful, what a positive vibe, this album is different class, blessed to of grown up to Mr P Wellers music.After listening to PW for 40 years, PW continues to excite, amaze,produce, with such a plethora of a back catologue, how on earth does PW continue to produce such magical music? Always spot on and brilliant. One of my all time favorite artist. One of my fav shows was his acoustic show at Town Hall in NYC. Saw Paul walking down Robertson Blvd. earlier this year. Still kicking myself for not chatting him up.
