This was our first time for breakfast there and it was good. Our favorite Paula Deen restaurant is the one in Savannah that was her first restaurant, Lady and Sons. They have the best sweet tea there. Appreciate you watching and commenting. Hope you have a Happy 4th of July!

I remember meeting her, and her husband, and 2 sons, when she came to the Island. The husband was a boat captain, really nice guy, talked for about 30 minutes, while he smoked a big stogie. Great video.

The breakfast looked great, but the fact that they served the #1 staple dish for breakfast - eggs. That was a lot of pepper on the bacon 😳. The Ooey Gooey pancakes sound good. That’s wild that they couldn’t pull out a small skillet and scramble some up, but at least they removed it from your bill. We love the “butter makes it better” shirt. Another excellent video! Keep ‘‘em coming! Have a great 4th of July guys.

I thought being out of eggs was crazy too. However the manager did say that there is a "process" of how they fix them. They mix them with cheese and other ingredients/spices and bake them in big pans. But I agree just cook some up in skillet! The bacon had too much pepper for David. I thought it was good. They bought us the other bacon they serve and David was happy. Always enjoy looking around in Paula's store. Happy 4th of July!

Thanks for sharing! Never been but it looks like their dinner would be phenomenal too! Maybe y’all should try and do a dinner review in the future Lord willing! The Chicken and Biscuits plus the bacon looked delicious!

We have been here for dinner before. We like her restaurant in Savannah, Lady and Sons, the best. When we are in that area we try to stop by. You should definitely check this restaurant out if you have not been. Loved our view of the Island while we ate!

Might give this a try the next time I'm in Pigeon Forge. The Clarion's breakfast buffet was woefully unprepared for a summertime weekday crowd! Looked pretty good. That and Calhoun's (supper the evening before) were the only places I ate at in my Pigeon Forge experiment. Another good video. God Bless!

There are so many breakfast places in Pigeon Forge. We don't go out for breakfast that often on vacation. But we do try to get out and review a few places to have that in our content library.

The one in Savanna is our favorite one. We stop there everytime we are in the area. We love the sweet tea at that location with the sprig of mint. In our opinion the food is always better at the Savanna location.

We love Paula Deen's Family Kitchen - but have never been there for breakfast. It looks as good as any other meal at this place. They definitely should have kept making eggs until all their breakfast customers had completed their meals though. Thanks for sharing the most important meal of the day with us!

I’ve been seen negative reviews, especially about breakfast. They say don’t waste your $ it’s nothing special etc there’s a lot of good places in gatlinburg for breakfast.

@@cumberlandquiltchic1 I have seen similar reviews. There are lots of great breakfast places in the Smoky Mountains. Our experience here was good overall with the exception of them running out of eggs but they did take off Carly's breakfast from the ticket. We were pleased with the food and price point. You just have to decide if it is something you want to try. Appreciate you watching and commenting. Enjoy the Smokies!

We tried lunch at Paula Dean's last year. It was really good. We had Catfish and fried chicken. That sucks they only brought one bowl of eggs for ya'll. I think the costumer is always right. They should have scrambled some extra eggs for you. Thanks for the review friends.

Most of the food reviewers who have tried both (that I watch) breakfast and lunch/dinner say that the breakfast is good but the lunch/dinner is so much better.

We have been here for lunch/dinner too. We have not done a review on it. Our preference is Paula Deen's original restaurant in Savannah, "Lady and Sons". We think the food there is better than the Family Kitchen. I know everybody wants to eat here because of Paula. It's not bad and the view of the Island is nice.

@@jamesboswell760 We’ve watched quite a few reviews from here by fellow vloggers we know (friends) snd a few from vloggers we are not familiar with. It seems like Paula’s is not consistent with their food. Overall we have had good experiences here. We always enjoy watching the different reviews. We were talking the other day about if we should do a lunch or dinner review here. Also I enjoy looking around in the shop there. Lots of unique items.

@@vafunseekers there are lots of variables to restaurants like this sometimes it comes down to who the cook is that particular day, and sometimes it comes down to variables and suppliers, etc.

I have been wanting to try the Breakfast At Paula Deen’s that’s a good tip to go early so we will be able to get eggs . I love her store I only use her spatulas in REN’s Kitchen but , I am Getting low I have worn two out and I am going to have to restock If you have nerve damage or carpal Tunnel they are easy to Grasp I filmed A video short about that I just don’t have it published yet . I really want the cinnamon rolls but , Cinnabon has the best with Cinnaholic in close second .. what did you think about those are they better than either of those places ? Oh I forgot to tell you Greg actually watched this one with me he engined it too ! Thanks again friends for a great video ! 🧡🤍Ren

I was not a fan of the cinnamon rolls but Carly was. I would definitely choose Cinnabon. I have not had Cinnaholic yet! The store is always so much fun to look around. Watching the video I saw things I had not noticed in the store. Appreciate you and Greg!
