UGH this game is AMAZING, it's everything I could want from an adventure game, not to mention I'm seeing my favorite creators make videos about it so it must be good! Great video once again Paula! (Also, at 44:50 I might be wrong in saying this but I believe if you enter the cave your familiar(yango bango who likes mango and tango in this case) cannot be placed on the map, only on their tile to help you in battle)

I thiiiink as long as you don't use your familiar to help you in the battle they can still do a map-based action.... I think?

Great video. I really enjoyed watching it. The game ended a bit too early if going by the version of the rules shared on Kickstarter: "Complete the current round. Then, each player takes one final turn, starting with the first player." So you should have played another full round based on that. The version of the rules that came with your prototype might have said something different though. 😃

Using the familiar in the village doesn't cost you a warmth. Seeing that mistake a lot in video's in this game. But paul grogan, who did the rules teach with the designer in the chat, established that it doesn't cost anything to do that. 😉

It's so weird, and I don't understand it, but no matter how much I see, or read, or hear about this game, I still have no clue what's it about. It's like advanced math: it just doesn't land. Am I alone in this??

This like a convoluted mess of everything, similar to Endless Winter. It may be interesting for you rst two or three times and that is it. Plus what is with half points, couldn't they add full point and two points, so you don't need to track another thing just for the sake of it. It needs refining and playtesting from the look of it. You've played it, you should know.
