i'm sure there's worse offenders. really, it's not that i dislike her work, it just doesn't quite do it for me. perhaps i'm missing something?

No, not if she's just not your style. But I find her range of work-Public Theater notwithstanding-enormously impressive. I think she's solving problems by thinking about the user, the way we all should be. There's more than one way to do that.

In the interest of brevity (and my deadlines), I'll just suggest you see episode 6 of Netflix's "Abstract", followed by the documentary "Helvetica."
