Thought I’d go back and listen to this. Paulie has some good points but this was the beginning of the biggest obsession in fight game history. Paulie did talk a lot of shit and realized that with a hand tied behind his back he could not do what he wanted to amateur boxer/ martial artist.

Did Paulie not watch the fight? Connor did throw in the last minute up until about 10 seconds before the ref stopped it. Also, he keeps mentioning the first Diaz fight. Does he not know that they fought twice and gassed in that fight too but dug deep in the champion ship rounds and stayed in it?

Conor just doesnt have the best conditioning. Nobody would say Yoel Romero got no balls for gassing out. Why they say this about conor ? He got taken down by Chad Mendes like 3 times and came back up 3 times. He got tired in the second nate diaz fight and came back. He got his ACL torned agains Max Halloway and still won every round. His problem is his conditioning definitly not his mental strenght.

But the dude can punch, landing an uppercut under the chin isnt the same as the side of the chin, and he didnt commit to it nor any of his punches. I think Paulie was right about the sparring session. He came in trying to help out Conor's camp and they used him because of his status as a 2 time boxing champ. Granted, he did talk a lot of smack so they wanted to get back at him and take advantage that he was out of shape. That said, Conor deserves all the respect in the world for stepping into the boxing ring. He took the loss like the champion he is. Now all he needs to do is defend his belt.

McGregor has exposed himself in my opinion. he is obviously knocking out chinny guys and men that are not focused on stand up fist fighting.. i expect there will be a shift . conor will get many challenges from guys that now view his alleged punching as something to not be feared..
