I stopped regularly listening to your content a couple years ago, and I gotta say, it’s disappointing to see you sorta shrug when it comes to the Saudis. I understand not wanting to argue all of the time, but this is one of the simplest, most black-and-white issues imaginable. Anyone you lose by saying “the Saudi government is an evil dictatorship using its wealth to distract from countless human rights abuses” isn’t worth scraping off the bottom of your shoe anyways.
Is ESPN+ related to Disney? Because that is all one needs to know. Woke garbage company doing woke garbage streaming service because ideology come first, not competency or user interests or value proposition. When some DEI (Didn't Earn It) is your cable guy or streaming guy, the only plus you get from it is pronouns. Run the other way. The company needs to park their way in Chapter 11, in perpetuity. Because the ideologues won't change on their own.
Naoya Inoue is the Battousai of this era of Japanese Warrior. Naoya doesn't use Samurai to destroy his foe but by the power of his destructive Fist. Naoya is the character doesn't just exist in Manga Anime but in real life. Naoya the Battousai Kaibutsu.
Hahaha, yeah cuz anybody believes that you, Mark Henry, get that thick from pure exercise and food. Clean at the time is very different from clean always. If you're so clean, take a spinal fluid test and show us how clean you've been for your entire life.
I loved me some women's mma in the UFC but for me it has gone down the crapper. Few top female fighters retired and Rose moving up in weight and not looking so great etc... Its like women's mma is fading with no big stars except for Wei Lei and she is not fighting as much as she use too.
I love when Luke gets out of the weeds of the specifics of in-cage fighting and kind of talks more as a casual, if that makes any sense. I enjoyed this nonetheless!
I like Tom but he needs to train better for Curtis than he did the first time imo. Unless his plan was to gas Curtis out it wasn’t looking good even before the injury.
Holy recency bias luke. I love Robert but he beats an unranked guy and now he should get the title shot over Strickland beating a ranked guy AFTER arguably winning his fight against ddp? Get outta here
I'm a fan of Whittaker and I know this is not what people want to hear, but anyway. I think these two recent wins won't age well. Costa is a very average fighter and Aliskerov was completely overmatched. I hope Whittaker beats Du Plessis in a rematch, but I don't think he does. I think the Du Plessis loss is a more accurate representation of where Whittaker is at the moment. A level above the likes of Cannonier, Imavov and Costa, but a level below Du Plessis and probably Strickland. I hope I'm wrong.
I'm the biggest fan of both Whittaker and Strickland but I dont think neither the Whittaker/Izzy fight, nor the Strickland/Du Plessis fight were close at all. Take into consideration I haven't rewatched either one of em, but my main memories of both was just me begging Whittaker and Strickland to do more the entire time
I've seen so many people act like Bobby Knuckles isn't a title contender because he's 0-3 vs Izzy & DDP, I'm just going to quietly wait until he wins his fucking belt back because the dude is an absolute monster
What is sad to me is that Marc Goddard has this $500 USD referee course and didn’t deduct for that fence grab?! Not sure if the course is worth it now.
So Kelvin is catching hate for being the perfect example of weight cutting effects your performance? He's a vet and I'm sure he knew what he was doing. Shame or no shame he's using the framework of the sport to have the best possible outcome.
