@@nbnguitar i am more into acoustic blues thing, but i love the sound of classical guitar ,and this piece is amazing thanks for sharing and taking out time for helping us.
Hey man, very nice lesson. Is there a part 2 cause I got this one down. You taught me a lot of classical so thank you very much for the tutorials you make. Tabs can be tricky to learn from when you want to learn classical but I manage.
@@onyroman5240 Well spotted Sir. I did indeed. Thank you very much for your comment Ony. I honestly never thought I'd reach 20k a couple of years ago when I started releasing instructional videos.
Hey, Joshua. I’m trying to decide which one to learn and fully invest my time towards between your Nocturne and Moonlight Sonata tutorials. But the thing is, I’ve only been playing guitar for about 8 months. Which one between the two would you recommend me focusing on? I like both pieces. Also, if you can recommend other songs, it would be great. Cheers!
Hey. I'd recommend Moonlight Sonata simply because it'll probably help you to develop a few fundamental techniques and it's nowhere near as complicated as Nocturne. I wouldn't recommend any other pieces at this point because I think it would be better for you to focus on some technical development such as the 120 etudes for the right hand by Giuliani and the G major Segovia scale. Cheers!
Thanks to you i have learned many pieces i never thought i would including this one. Subscribed to your basic membership and the content you provide is amazing! Highly recommend!
This is a beautiful comment Jack. I'm stoked to know that you're learning pieces you never thought you could. I know there's a big bunch of critics out there that think if someone can't read or have difficulty reading music or tabs then they're 'unworthy' of such music but I disagree. I'm not sure if that's what has prevented you learning such pieces thus far but no matter the reason I'm really happy for you and I thank you for supporting me by subscribing to a basic NBN guitar membership.
Nice lesson Joshua. A piece you should really teach is un seuno en la floresta by barrios. It be cool if you kept the original fingerings to. Thanks for everything
My pleasure Saam. I'd absolutely love to do that piece. I learned it many years ago but I haven't touched it in a long time. TBH it is at the very edge of my technique level. I'd hate to butcher the play-through of it...
Hi Metin. It was uploaded many months ago but it is only available to paid members on my website. For more information you can use this link: nbnguitar.com/membership
hi Joshua! thanks so much for these incredible guitar lessons! for some reason, I can't access the second video (under the basic members section), do you still have it locked by chance? it also doesn't come up in the search bar. thank you!
Hi Renaud. Thank you very much and you're most welcome. Actually the video should've been read but for some unknown reason the tail end of the video was corrupted so I need to reshoot the teaching of the last two or three bars. I've been hindered by poor weather here in New Zealand so I wasn't able to return to the location that I filmed the tutorial at. For the sake of continuity I want to shoot in the same place otherwise it'll look really weird haha. I expect it should be available to basic and premium members by Wednesday. Sorry for any inconvenience Renaud and thanks for supporting me and what I do :)
joshua, let me just say a very big thank you for all the effort and great work you do on your YT channel. After a very long absence from playing, it has provided me with the motivation and energy to start putting quality time into practicing again. Your slow walk through tutorials make even the most challenging pieces in the repertoire seem less daunting. If there was an Academy Awards ceremony or Golden Globes for YT, you should be collecting an envelope every year. Thanks again and keep up the great work
hello good morning...... so sorry my goodfriend teatcher do you have the part two for this another amazing songs thanks for medicinal music and thanks for partage free and not buisness this is music you awesome ...hope to see you one days for thankyouuu. ...have good dayssss
Hi, good morning back to you. I have part two but if I understand your comment you are asking me to make it available for free for medicinal reasons. Unfortunately I do not really want to do that because I already give so many other materials away for free. This channel and my materials are now one of the only ways I can support myself therefore in this instance I am unable to action your request. I do wish you all the best too :)
I would suggest you follow the teaching format of mangore.com. I used to love that site since he really broke it down by bar with multiple camera angles, etc. I glady paid the steep yearly fee since I really felt I 'knew' the song after his lessons. However, he fell off once he starting selling guitars and clearly stopped caring. It's a market that no one is really tapping and you could possibly do very well.
