It's so weird to hear ppl cheering on some moves. example-You know he will use flamestrike, and then when he uses it they cheer like they didn't expect that. xD
1:18:35 Pavel: *mumbles incoherently* Announcer: "I BET YOU AREEE!!" Announcer: "What went through your mind during the last few moments of the match!?" Pavel: "Umm..one more time please?" Announcer: *Laughs uncomfortably* "Well...uh...(I have no idea wtf you're saying)..."
Gotta give em it, since the years the Hearthstone commentators have definitely tried to become more informative and enthusiastic, can really see it this year.
> 31:18 not playing malygos, innervate, wrath, living roots, moonfire, and save yogg for more spells and a better possible comeback. Greed for malygos value got the best of him and that's why he lost.
play to win maby? saving malygos gave him a bigger chance to win if he did clear board, waisting all his malyspells and maly on minions would maby clear the board but would also let him about 100% of the time lose afterwards. you need to play to win, not play to survive
***** You can win an entire poker tournament without even once having the best hand at the table. There is also nothing random about the cards themselves. Poker is a completely different world than hearthstone...
Each player gets to bring along 5 decks, then your opponent gets to ban one of your decks so it can't be used. You then have to get 1 win with each of your 4 remaining decks (if that makes sense).
You can´t win in that point with malygos combo, see how Kolento plays druid and you will see, he play perfect Malydruid. The full combo is 28 damage, you must use malygos for cleaning big minions againts control warrior. I play druid and control warrior, at turn 10+ warrior is far away of losing with the full combo
Theyre both so awkward. Wish there was some life in them both while playing and while being interviewed. Maybe they just take the whole pokerface thing too seriously
2 arcane giants o board and shield maiden survives...beat that Hippi. Too much RNG to call someone world champion. Try Elder Scrolls Legends if u want to play a card game where tactics and skill really matters.
the prize pool for 2016 hearthstone championship is 1 million dollars. League of legends season 6 worlds prize pool was 5 million and 1st place team takes 2 million. I think dota 2 worlds prize pool is more than league of legends. It's safe to say esports can easily get you 6 digits per year. Also on top of the ads and steaming they can do.
i edited the comment just in case you want to know the esports prize pool for the other games. these are just prize pools not counting the ads and streaming they do
oh my bad. Dota 2 worlds 2016 prize pool this year is 20 million dollars. Winning team takes 9 million and 2-8 split the rest 11 million based on rankings
