Such beautiful art of the cup, sunflowers 🌻 and LaLande. Perhaps it could be a present for Pavlina? She mentioned she loves blue and white and with the sunflower for Ukraine and the chateau to remind her of her time at LaLande?♥️
My jaw dropped when I saw our box of gifts 😄 I’m so so happy you like them. Thank YOU all for giving so much and for the opportunity to give a little back 💖💖💖

So wonderful to have Pavlina join Cadeau. I am amazed at the artistic talent displayed in the gifts sent in this vlog. So many talented and generous followers. The jewelry, the paintings, the aprons, the dish towels, etc were just spectacular. Thank you for sharing 😍😘

Stunning and exquisite creations with unique artistic applications. The Australian pieces with the tea cups and coordinated pieces are lovely. So many pieces stand out in this collection. The live and sincerity you each impart each time you open your packages oozes with love. Bravo, Stephanie and Co.❤️
Hi Stephenie, lovely video as usual, it was lovely to see Pavlina on the sofa tonight as well as the gorgeous Natty, I think Pavlina enjoyed it bless her heart, send her our love, I’m so glad she’s at the Chateau with you and all your lovely Lalandes. Philip has become a first class camera man, I can see why you love him Steph and I don’t mean for his camera skills, he’s such a lovely man and he is so in love with you! I loved the material for the chapel, so beautiful, loads of love to you all xxxxxxxxxxxx😘❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Take the crocheted butterflies, soak them in starched water and press them flat and allow them to dry. You can even pin them on a piece of cardboard covered with a kitchen towel to allow them to dry in shape. If you want something stronger, you can use white PVA glue (like Elmer's) watered down a bit and do them the same way.
Amazing selection of perfect gifts to you all from across the globe! So delighted to see Pavlina sporting the copper bracelet, Stephanie a snazzy dress and jade glass bracelet and Nattie with her pretty earrings and print dress! The artwork and fabrics inspiring projects from chateau to chapel. Snacks, coffee and tea - I’m just so happy to see you guys rewarded and everyone expressing the same gratitude I feel for your content these past years! Im still thinking of the oyster shells- superb!
So nice to see Pavlina today. It has been a very difficult recent day in the Ukraine. Our thoughts, hearts and prayers remain with all. Lovely vlog with generous gifts and the art was incredible. Lovely box from Sister Renee. I am 5hinking 5he envelope is for vestments or Bible cover. The material for the dress and the altar look amazing. Get sewing! LOL! KEEP WELL. BIG HUG TO PAVLINA FROM CANADA!
Thinking about you and yours Pavlina...I wish you well throughout these terrible times. Steph you have brought a smile to my face again as you literally play "dress up' with some of your wearable gifts.....love it!
I saw Queen Mary's Dolls House once as well. It is beautiful. It is fully operational, the taps run with water I am told (I did not see that happening though) and even the books are real! None of it is fake! I recall that it is at Windsor Castle. If you can fix Sister Renee's crosses onto a chain, they would make stunning necklaces also. The fabric she sent you is so beautiful! It is worthy of the Chapel's altar. Love to Pavlina and her family and Ukraine. Thank you for the video!
Thanks everyone involved once again in this vlog. I am always delighted to watch everything you post. Especially pleased to see the return of the longer format for this one again. Stay safe. Love from Brisbane Australia.
In my culture it is traditional to wear the Jade bracelet on your left hand for luck and tranquility! In this cold spring it is a wish of mine for all the LaLanders to feel the warmth and peace you provide to all of us at home through your videos themselves. Love from an equally cold Alberta, Canada.
It was unclear to me whether she meant Covid or cancer (she is German), so I cut out more of Steph’s reaction when editing (Steph thought it was cancer).
Stephanie, I also saw Queen Mary’s dollhouse when I visited Windsor Castle and it was exquisite. It was hard to imagine that all the tiny books in the library were actual written copies of originals in miniature!📚 Philip, I wore original wooden clogs with the leather tops in my childhood when I did highland dancing, which included the ‘waltz clog’ dance. (Although ours was in Irish costume not Dutch.)🤭😅🥰
For the butterflies, my grandmothers made a thick sugar syrup and dipped the crochet pieces in it and arrange them in sort of 3D and let them dry. In this case you could arrange them on cups or bowls , anything to give them a nice shape as though flying and then you could hang them over a table for Easter or a summer meal outdoors. My Nans made fine crochet doilies and stood up the border in ripples then arranged a crystal bowl with a huge Peony floating in it. A way to celebrate the short season that Peony’s bloom I guess 🤣😂. The one I remember in particular was a rich dark pink with a little greenery and Babies Breath springs . I so enjoy watching the videos, thank you for taking the time to share them with us. 🥰❤️🙋🏼♀️
As soon as I saw them I also thought of sugar syrup. My nanna taught me how to use it on doilies and then later on the lace at the bottom of net petticoats which I wore under circular skirts when I danced to rock and roll in the 70's ( often to music from the 50's)
Those painted shells may get ruined if you use them to scoop out bath salts. The roughness of the salts may scratch the paint off of the shells. Maybe you can tuck them into nooks, put them in books shelves, on side tables instead? Just a thought. I love the bird dress! Everyone is so generous, La Landers included. My heart hurts for Pavlina and all Ukranians right now. Much love from Washington State, U.S.A. ❤️
I totally agree with your idea they could be glued onto the front of the candlesticks it would be glorious and capture the light and The Jewels will Sparkle I pray that she has the real face of Jesus framed in a beautiful frame and blessed by a priest and she can hang that also in the chapel
I think my favorite thing was the cherubim shell. But I collect angel things, and my favorite colors are blue & white & gold. I also liked the dollhouse spode.
Queen Mary’s dolls house at Windsor Castle. We did a video of this. We were walking in dim light and the whole house was in the middle of a large room. You walk around the dolls house. The paintings were oils, stunning
It’s fun looking back at when Pavlina was new to the chateau. I’m obsessed with that tea cup she’s using. I wonder what it is. I hope Pavlina is hanging in there and I’m so glad she found Laland, or laland found her.
There’s a cultural diversity of woman sitting there together. Friendship, love, and camaraderie it’s what this world needs. ❤️❤️❤️ I’m thinking of turning the heat down and really enjoying cuddling down with some soft cuddly blankets and a warm corded sweater with cabin socks. I miss Michael and his exuberant self.
All the colours made me think of organizing narnia by colour. All the jewellery, fabric, costumes and such by colour, just like the christmas decorations. To envision the completion is such a rainbow. The jewellery can be hung on the inside door of the colour coordinated wardrobe just like the kitchen tools so they are all together.
🪄 Truly magical! 🌟 How lovely that Pavlina 🌟 joined in 👥. 🤗 Always taken aback by the creativity, artistry, & generosity of your viewers. 📦 They sent some amazing art, jewelry & gifts. 💗So touched by their stories too. 💖 Stephanie you look stunning in the navy dress. You ought to look smashing in the retro mini-dress too, esp. in your sunny yellow 🟡 wellies. 💟Can't wait to see Nati in that groovy gorgeous top. The colors are perfection for her. 🍥 Too sweet to include Dana 🤍〰️ she's such an important part of the Chateaux extended family. 💝 Loved the headbands too! 😘Philip & the whole collection of darling woodland creatures🦔. 🙏 God bless Susan, Selena, Mikki, Erica, Bethany, the ✝️Sister & her order, all the other givers I missed🥺, ⚜️LaLande & all the faithful fans🕊️. 💚 Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)
Hello ! I am also French with a mix of sicilian on my mum's side and andalucian on my dad's side plus plenty of other origins ! I love both channels ! Stéphanie, her family and friends are just adorable and fun! Team Lalande! Yeahhhhhh ! Bisous from Alsace ! 😍😘😁😀🤣🎁🎁🎁🎁🎁
Wonderful gifts you have received. All these work. All were so beautiful. Stephanie, I would like to make a suggestion for a charity. The American Liver Foundation. I have two great nephews who have liver disease. The older one has had his transplant and doing great but his 14 year old brother is now on the transplant list waiting for a donor. I hope this was okay for a suggestion. Thank you.
Really enjoyed this Stephanie! Good luck to Pavlina, you and your country are in our prayers. Where has Nick and his family been? Seems a long time since we've seen them.
Loved the vlog as usual at the point you were looking at the gifts from the sisters , the beautiful material for the alter , I got distracted looking outside the window and wondered what is the building you can see in the distance. Made me think one day when you do another tour can you show views from different windows love as always x
That's the rest of the Chateau de la Lande and the wing with Nic and Marie's apartment. Stephanie and Nati are sitting on the couch in the winter salon with their backs toward the courtyard.
Hello all you La Landers!! I just saw the diamond paintings you received. I have to tell you two things: 1 - please put that plastic back on the painting or two things will happen A. it will catch all kinds of dust and B. it will lose its stickiness and the diamonds wont stick. 2 - please watch, on utube, Top Ten Tips For Diamond Painting. I'll ad a third so 3 - there's another to watch which is about the different ways to finish it so the diamonds will stay on. I've done about ten diamond paintings and after about the 5th or 6th one I found these two sites. The 10 tips video is very important to see before you start. She is so helpful. Everybody says this but I too found you through covid two years ago, you and so many others in your circle - meaning Dan and family, the Pethericks. I lived alone for 2 1/2 years only seeing my dog and cat only. Oh, and the local deer and their "children" who came to my front door most every night seeking food. There are no underbrush for them to feed on anymore, so they make their rounds to get their food. It's a long story and would take too long to tell it but, I would love to tell you Phillip. The one I named Sugar eats right out of my hand! l lived in the country with no neighbors. I didn't get to see my daughter, son in law, and three grandchildren. I lived in the middle of woods, a lake across the street and it is a very hilly area along with all the roads curving here and there. What's wrong with that? I desperately needed a knee replacement and couldn't get around by walking. I really wanted to go to the lake but the easiest way to get to it is 85 steps down and of course back up. The knee replacement was not a priority and had to wait until covid was under control. I was finally able to move into a place much closer to people and places late last spring but I still couldn't walk much. The replacement happened this past September, Yea! I don't ever want to do that again any time soon. As of this past four weeks I am almost fully pain free. God is so very good!! I love that you all brought me so much happiness while having to be alone for so long. I'm a social person and it really messed me up, but I have a big smile now! XXOO Katherine
i remember doing this expariment in colour class many moons ago, when you look at it quickly then look away you get the negative image in your retina, that person is brilliant..........
The crochet butterflies - you can soak them in a half glue half water solution then squeeze out the liquid, lay them on either wax paper or silicone (parchment) paper - tweak them to your liking (curved over a paper roll to mimic it in flight) or flat. You can also add these (once dry) to the creature Christmas tree or suspend them from the Murano flowered crystal chandelier.
What inspired jewelry designs! There are so many talented people in the world, who create instead of destroy. I am always so happy when we are reminded of that by these Vlogs each week. It doesn't mean we live in a fantasy, just that we need love, and art (including books) in our lives.😁❤🌺🌹
😬 It's definitely an acquired taste. Had a beautiful 🐨Aussie roommate during Uni 🏫 who used to terrorize😳 everyone with it. She'd creep up, schmear some under the tip of your nose👃, & you'd be tortured😵💫 with the hideous smell until it faded.✌️💙🦋 💚 Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)
Lovely, joyous and touching, as always! It was so nice for Pavlina to join you! It might be neat to frame the tea towel or make a cushion of it and use it in the same room that you put the collage (Is that the right word?) in. The same image in different mediums might be nice! The sunflower belongs in the kitchen (Is there room?), or maybe the pantry hallway. Just a thought!
Marmoset I’d a chipmunk like creature found, I know, in the Colorado Rockies. My daughter, as an adult even, was fascinated by them. She had to have a sweat shirt with them as a souvenir of our trip on a railroad up to Pikes Peak.
IDEA: For the crotchet flutter by's (butterflies) -- place them on a piece of wax paper and coat them with thin layers of mod podge (allowing them to dry completely between layers), they are often used on tablescapes in the southern region as decor pieces. It is a simple way to pep up themes when decorating for garden parties or special events. AND... the best part... The mod podge will preserve them for decades. Clean them with a damp cloth. If you ever wish to redo them -- simply soak them overnight in a bowl of HOT water mixed with 2 tablespoons of a strong dish liquid. Rinse. Dry them completely. Then reapply the mod podge. Super Easy DIY for any lace items to make them last for generations.
Sister Renée’s gifts are lovely..the cloth has wheat and grapes, not corn. The wheat is the bread, once Consecrated, becomes the Holy Eucharist. Blessings to all!
