So back in the early days of pokemon my brother and I begged our mom to get us this mint condition Japanese Charizard for $50 at a card shop. Was literally in a plaque and never removed, so completely mint. I moved from Colorado and one day was like "you know I could make some money on that" went went to check my boxes... I had left it in Colorado. Gone forever. I still kick myself for that.

Rick made a HUGE mistake not buying the Shoezeum collection!! The price of shoes,especially Dunks, has gone through the roof! At the time this was filmed those "what the Dunks"were going for about $2,000. Just this week I saw a Pair for sale for $27,000. Chumlee knew that was a Goldmine!

The market for that old Disney stuff is set and the price is only going to go up. The market at the time the Pokémon and Nikes were offered to Rick was very volatile. Looking back it was a huge mistake but I can’t blame him. Got to invest your money smartly and that’s not in a volatile market.

Especially at a pawn shop. Take that stuff to a dealer who specializes or an auction house where you will find interested buyers. I have a massive sports card collection with quite a few very valuable cards that I've been collecting for over 30 years. Had a few offers for cards and the whole set, but I don't want to part with it.
