Yes that is a set and the tv company finds people that want to sell things to rick maybe the deals stick I don't know but..... it's not like lizzard lick or hard-core pawn so over dramatic and fake
Guy: i want this for 500 Rick: okay i need to call a professional for this Professional: yeah this is the rarest funko and it's about worth about 5,500 Rick: wow. I can give you about 20
Rob Millington 12% of 3k is 360 dollars. You really think paying 360 is a lot? People working minimum wage at McDonalds in my state make 360 in FOUR DAYS
@@Tony-yn5rr lmfao almost $400 is ALOT of money in fees. ALOT. Nobody is ever happy with giving that much money up. It may be easier to sell that way but its not worth the fees.
Rob Millington 360 is not a lot compared to 3k its actually just 12 % despite how much you try to inflate it to 400. You want to know how long it takes to make 360? Three days MINIMUM WAGE
A funko pop collector would definitely understand "These mean a lot to me and I can't see myself parting with them." I for one completely understand that, especially when it comes to my autographed Karate Kid funkos. I could never sell those, especially the experience I had with the actors themselves means a lot to me!
But it means so much to him and he cant sell them for any less, but the only reason he went to sell them in the first place was because he figured out they were valuable 😂
Tomas Leinonen i dont blame the guy. some Funkos especially the San Diego Comic Con Exclusive variants can go from $500-$7k if in perfect condition & how many were made. i sold my Headless Ned for $2,300 on ebay & its in near mint condition.
to get full value they should have gone to a collector, not a pawn shop, but unfortunately they would not sell it for 3000 in a comic book or video game convention
JORDY GARAGE I don’t understand why you gotta act like you know stuff. His attitude is fake in the tv show. He’s actually a really nice guy. Also it doesn’t take a genius to realize basically all these shows are scripted
It’s a risk to have them as an investment though. It’s only a matter of time before people decide they don’t care or no longer like the style. A standard high quality rare figure can hold it’s value but a stylized one may someday go out of style.
I've gotten nearly the full collection of Fallout pops. I don't collect them to sell them in the future, I just think they look cool on display. It does get pretty addictive after a while though.
Thomas Work yes it really does get addictive. It’s like tattoos you get one you want more and more. That’s one reason why I never got fallout pop cuz I know if I get one or 2 I would want them all. Cuz I Love Fallout 4. I still play fallout 4. I think the Vault Boys are the hardest ones to get. I wish I had at least one vault boy and not over pay for one lol so next best thing I got a vault boy bobble head lol 😎👍🏽
No, if I owned them I would sell them for $57,000. It’s only worth what someone is willing to pay or what they have sold for in the past. These prices are arbitrary and don’t represent the true value
StreetkillnHD what are you talking about?? Skeletor is easily 1k and the other two 1.8-2k easily. So yes him asking 2k for them is giving them away at a steal
Customer: I have this certified Mint condition signed Babe Ruth Trading card along with a jar of God’s breath as confirmed by the pope. Rick: Wow, I can give you a handshake and my spit in your eye and I’m really taking a risk here
Update on PPG values for May 2021 (keep in mind there are very few sales of these and not all of them are in great condition like in this video so it can skew the values): Freddy Funko as Joker = $3780 Skeletor = $1470 Freddy Funko as Batman = $1450
Skeletor sells for about 1600 Batman is about 1800 joker is 900 4300 total the fact he still has the original mysterybox and they seem in good condition, they could easily sell for about 4000$ idk where hes pulling 2800 from
Triscuit H was not looking at ebay asking prices, i collect funkos, and even on the funko resale website you can see actual sales and actual prices, i rounded them to the average sale price plus quality and got my figure, in reality this show preys on customers who dont really know the full detail and value of the items, you can see this in many episodes, in total from past sales you COULD get about 5k, including the fact it has the original mystery box of fun, it again increases value
Mr.kevin not home different opinions i guess, if you have a lot of money, and its a hobby, why not? Anything can look like a waste of money to people who dont have a lot of money to be fair
