On December 16, 1773, a group of colonists, mostly sons of liberty, met in Boston to protest a tax on tea. When it went unheeded, they dressed up a Mohawk people and dumped tea in the Boston harbor. The sons of liberty later became the improved order of red men. Wikipedia: the improved order of red men. Both Roosevelt's were members. Peace and Ahev
Same!! It does not require intense focus, is interesting enough to watch, but not so interesting that I can't easily walk away at any point and continue on the next food break
“ my father got the apron at a house that they rented back in 1970 and thought it would be a good family heirloom”….so he stole it? Is that what you’re saying?
Correction. Prince used the symbol bc the record company owned his masters. Not his name. He didn't think that was right so he didn't wanna promote his brand as a protest.
@@jackstewart2339that's the thing, a lot of people don't understand just because something is old doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable lol. There are people probably like the original comment or things anything old is automatically going to be valuable LOL
@@shadycnetwork when they film it's almost always in the building behind the actual pawn shop, I live local and I've had a few friends who were paid to be background extras there. Half of the filming building doesn't even have a roof, basically a sound stage lol.
I have family that lives in Vegas & have met them. I also knew someone that also went to Vegas & met them. I highly doubt you were born & raised there cause you would've met them.
I know right!? I’ve worked in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC, arguably the greatest museum collection on earth and this ring looks 100% like something on display there. Even the gold work I’ve seen just as beautiful as that ring on much earlier pieces.
I have never seen a single offer by Chumlee that wasn’t a complete lowball. Most of his offers are insulting low and those that don’t barter with him are chumps.
If dude really wanted money to buy something from the shop he should have tried to trade it instead of sell it. They have a lot less money in their merchandise so he probably could have gotten more in trade
😢 the Egyptian ring is it stolen from me in San Francisco by my stupid neighbor thanks to the service key Thief😢 and also to the governor for thank you for the service key law
Just once, I'd like to see Rick (or any of them) call am expert before they f8nd out what the customer is asking for the item. It feels almost like they go inbthe back and call the "expert" and give them the dollar amount the customer wants and they know to appraise it at half that so they get their cut. You know he has these people in retainer so binuses for everybsale isnt far fetched
Everything that comes to them. The production finds for them beforehand so they know what's coming to them beforehand You can't tell me rick knows literally almost everything about every item that comes in
As far as the prince hat not sure why they went with the guy who called him down to see didn't already know it wasn't worth it that or it's poor tv scripting
Prince did not change his name for legal reasons. Warner Bros did not own the rights to the name Prince and he was still under contract with Warner Bros when he changed his name to the love symbol. He changed his name more or less out of protest because he was unhappy with his contract. Since Prince was his legal first name I highly doubt any company could have legally prevented him from using it. Warwick is an expert??
15:50 "Which of the following openly condemned Freemasonry?" Had to laugh at the options -- Catholics, Jews, Protestants -- since there's only one of those groups that made a habit of condemning people.
Come on people don't freak out about the woman selling the ring. I know how y'all get if it's a family heirloom lol. Somebody will buy it and actually appreciate it. That's a good thing.
