I don't know what the viewership of Pawn Stars is anymore, but hard to believe that someone would agree to come on this show and reinforce the stereotype of someone that looks she does. People are going to see this forever.
At 1:52 I don’t think it is dishonest to give the customer the amount they ask for. They are free to ask for any amount they desire. If you find that amount to be good for you, then pay it. If not, then try to negotiate a better amount.
@@vanillabadboy4469exactly...if anything happened in the moment they lost big they will never have those same things around again... people, clothes, coins, lighters, drinks... it doesn't matter...all gone
@@Slammy555 True. That's why I referred to how she acted. She got it for free, only wanted $1000...yet Rick gave her a good price. Not just a fair price.
gold coins move quickly and has high turnover in his shop he needs consistent inventory so its a good deal. He will probably have a buyer within a few weeks or a a few months for that coin. He also knows lots of collectors and i assume he has a database or list of people he can sell it to immediately.
@@jaymike3302 I think they're constrained by the camera on how much profit they can make. At this point it seems like they're a brand more than a pawn shop.
So hot girl brings in a 4,000 dollar coin and he offers 3,000 dollars. Black guy brings in a 40,000 dollar Washington coin and he can’t go over 20k “or he’ll lose money “?
Can only feel sorry for the willfully stupid people who think that objects can hold some magical entity that then is entitled to give them good luck. That is until one of them gives you their valuable object
And to all the shucks who keep saying Rick lowballs, this is how he rolls. I have never seen Rick lowball anyone in any of these clips. Though I never did watch the whole shows on TV. I don't have TV. However one of the first programs I created was for a warehouse chain to automatically calculate discount sales based on the standard 60% markup which is what all retail stores, including pawn shops go by. In other words when you buy a $60 shirt they don't buy it for $58, they Pay $24.00 wholesale. My program took the wholesale price automatically calculated the retail price, then tracked the inventory of sales, once reconciled would tell them what items were not selling, then they could punch in a percentage of discount they wanted, to sell stagnate inventory. Fun stuff.
