I took a look at that auction result -- which is from 2022 -- and am fairly sure it was a different Washington Masonic Medal, which was in significantly better condition (AU-58+).

Rick definitely went on by the guy's looks ..he thought hes dumb and would jump at the 20k offer especially since its alot more than the 5k he wanted ..turned out the guy is a lot wiser than most people who come on the show
40k is the least you can get for it guaranteed and it's so rare and in demand for all types of collectors that it's definitely going to go up to 60k... rick should've just offered 30k because he's never gonna see one again ever
