From "Parks & Recreation": a mockumentary series following Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler), the deputy director of the Parks and Recreation department in the fictional town of Pawnee, Indiana. The craziest part is that there are actually people like this. I never worked with my city but I did have to speak to a lot of clients about silly PC issues and the things these people would do... truly amazed me. One woman left her computer on for SEVEN YEARS STRAIGHT, and became enraged when I told her "Maam, can see your uptime right here, the PC didn't shut down" "DON'T YOU TELL ME HOW TO DO MY JOB. MAKE IT WORK!" I just shut it down when she walked away. Problem fixed immediately. Lol.

The introduction of the animal control dudes is one of my favorite parts of the show. The first time I saw him pull the "work whistle" I laughed very VERY hard. RIP Harris.

Andy Samberg is hilarious and I love that Jake Peralta in B99 mentioned having a cousin in Indiana (I believe).😂😂😂 Also, those Animal Control officers definitely are terrible at their jobs and I’m disturbed by that bird whistle and their knowledge of cat skinning.😳😓

Pawnee is full of the background characters of a sit-com. The "real show" follows Jerry Gergich. The rest are the "wacky characters" that never get "fully fleshed out" in the show. That''s why they're so odd.

Craig is right about Bermuda grass. You shouldnt have Bermuda grass in an Indiana climate. That type of grass does better in the southeast portion of the US in states like South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. Trust me. Ive played a lot of golf.
