I'd love to hear your analysis of the Court ruling on Apple having to pay Ireland 13.7 Billion euros. Having lived the Human 'condition' it would appear to be great for Ireland initially but will be detrimental to the Irish Tax incentive business model in the long run! I, genuinely, do not know how to analyse this situation and lok forward to your insight. P.S. in light of the death and destruction in any one of the tragic 50 wars ongoing currently, this is a trivial nonsense.
Starbuck's syndrome is a universal human condition, while there are absolute benefits to management by numbers, sometimes numbers people lose the plot, ie Starbucks. The point being is that when the founder left day to day operations to MBA's, they removed barista's with automated machines, grinding and roasting coffee in the store, essentially tried to maximize profits at the foundation of the Starbucks experience, the reason you paid 8+ dollars for a cup of coffee. The changes resulted in disaster requiring the founder to return. He closed every location, retrained, restaffed, restored previous operations, then reopened to success by understanding the reason people paid. As for current turmoil, somehow it will work out as humans adapt, hell people live at ground zero Hiroshima.
How Germany wants to do it. Simple. Electricity can generate hydrogen. With electricity and hydrogen you get mathan. If electricity is cheap enough, Germany produces its own gas. Sun and wind are free. Renewables are supposed to plug the gap. They are already cheap, but whether they will be cheap enough as a "raw material" for gas remains to be seen. On the plus side, the money for production stays in Germany and does not leave the German market.
