Two major wars unfold side by side, and the aftermath is felt throughout the world as nations accept their new reality or continue trying to resist it. I'm now co-owning a discord server with Imperialis! Join here: / discord
I love how they all got their own distinct personalities. France, Britain, Canada, Karelia, Germany, America, the East Africans, everybody’s got a little story on the side, and I love it.
I love how those stereotypes are still up; the Texan accent, the French-Quebecois rivalry, Karelia as a whole! I love these series so much! *Crap france lied*
France and Italy are very similar. Their languages are in the same family, they both are on the Mediterranean, and most importantly... *They switch sides*
Italy did not actually switch sides in either World War. In WW1, they were never on the side of the Central Powers. They just had signed a pact with Germany and Austria. A _mutual defense pact._ They weren't obligated to defend Austria, because Austria wasn't the aggressor. Then, in WW2, what happened was that Italy became a puppet state of Germany, still under Mussolini. The government that sided with the Allies didn't exist until the supposed "switching of sides" by Italy.
This takes place over 100 years into the future, and now I'm literally ashamed to be British, despite it not having happened. THAT is what I'd call a good storyline.
Fun fact, I started this episode before Pax Americana. Thought this would be an alternate timeline where everything gets explained in bits and pieces. Than I found the first season....and that explained a lot, obviously. XP
I was more quick to catch on to the fact that this was a season 2. I was abruptly introduced to Korean Mapping's channel, and the idea of the Edge mapping style as a whole, with RU-vid's algorithms recommending that I watch "Humanity". I clicked on it, and quickly realized there was more that I didn't know. I needed to see past episodes to know everything, so I went through Korean's videos. This led to me having a quicker introduction to Pax Americana.
This has to be the best America-centered video I have ever seen. Mappers like yourself have really given me inspiration, and these are top-notch visuals and storytelling. It'd be great to get into contact with you now that both Ion Mapping and Protonic Mapping have become inactive. Might be great to share our tricks, no?
25:28 Wait, what's this plan Australia's talking about? If Australia was actually about to form Gaia in 2143, his impatience is much worse than I thought.
I suspect that might be what he wanted to do. It's supported by the way South Africa responded. He tells Australia to slow down, as the plan is too drastic to just do on a whim. They need time to prepare. South Africa would be right if the plan referred to was the one to form Gaia, as this was even before Spain joined the Congruity, although it wasn't actually called the Iron Congruity until he joined.
Absolutely marvellous work and a great suspenseful opener to the new season. I especially love the different characterizations for each nation here, accents, the way they talk. I can quite literally hear the tones of and behind the words that blend in and out in front of me on the screen.
0/10 Italy is the one that switches sides not France :l Jk awesome video 20/10 , cant wait to see what hapends next oh and it would be amazing if something hapend in South America xd.
It’s the beginning of new era and new challenges but who will prevail? we don’t know but one think is sure there will be only one winner of this game but question is how many people’s will die to win this dangerous game of world domination?
Clearly, France knows the truth. If he had not known, he wouldn't have confronted Britain about not offering peace to Canada and he would've _foolishly_ agreed with Britain to continue the advance on Canadian territory. So yeah, France *knows* the truth. The whole world thinks of Canada as a threat, but clearly France does not.
Bruh i know Polands part was supposed to be sad you know like to make it look hes stuck in the events that happened but for some reason it just seems funny to me
Britain is not the bad guy he just makes sacrifices needed for the greater good you can’t have lots of good without a little bad.Dont kill Britain of at the end of the series.Let the ‘bad guy’ win!Rule Britannia
