So far it's been awesome, nice clans and solos getting along helping each other out. Lot of people worried about clans taking over but I've yet to see it.
We'll have to see on full release when the game is more polished and provides more content. That's when we can expect to see clans trying to take over. Nothing wrong with that though, its part of the MMO experience. You will see other clans try to fight back and it creates this dynamic which make MMOs so fun to me
Its beautiful. The RP server I'm on in US East, in Gravas there is a HUGE construction/stairway system that has to be seen to be believed. Also, they are all about Role-Play there so it is worth paying that place a visit and speaking to their head mage Dakkard about the history of their great lands. Highly recommended.
@@rodneyt72 that’s awesome. I actually just started a series where I don’t talk at all and just show off the base. I’m gonna have to pay that place a visit, thank you
Besides the things missing with EA I would like to see one major city in each province in wildlands that has a little bit for story and what not and an auction house that is tied to the whole server to help with economy and ease of access for trading
Every single person who complains about no NPCs or no cities or no quests in Pax Dei can just be ignored because they very obviously didn't bother to read ANY of the info on the game's website, and if you don't even try to inform yourself on the game you're gonna play, I'm not gonna take you seriously.
how is this game? I see mixed opinions on it. it piques my interest i love the setting but are there enough people playing for actual towns to function? Are there bandits and what not while you go explore?
@@jakecain2825 you will sometimes run into small structures, big bases, and other times full blown cities. There’s no trade system or anything yet, so I wouldn’t call them functioning towns, it’s more aesthetics right now. The game is still in very early stages. I know they released this version as “early access”, but I think it’s more like early alpha.
They’re a game company; they will mess up and drop the ball like all game companies do. Greed gets in the way of good things. Looking at you, Helldivers and PlayStation
@@Maggie-q9i Sony ruined Helldivers 😭 literally had a great game and they had to put their hands in it and mess it all up 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ when will they learn?? I just don’t get it
If I wanna play solo and build a humble house, would you say 1 plot is enough ? Gr8 video, I am strongly considering buying it. Just dont know how many plots i shall get
@@Zhaothedruid yes 100% you can. Just because you only own one plot of land, it does not mean you can’t build multiple floors on it 😉😉 I’ve ran into literal towers lol. One plot is absolutely enough
During Alpha 2, I built a 2-floor house, 2 blocks wide, 3 blocks long, plus a porch taking up most of the rest of my plot, to put workstations on it (like the kiln or the forge). Kitchen and smaller crafting benches on the ground floor, bedroom on the top floor. Worked fine for me.
Is this the one that's eventually going to be a subscription service or was that another one. There was one that looked like this I had the version with some extra building things in my cart but it said it'll eventually be removed and replaced with some monthly payment thing
@murkYuri thanks for the quick response. I'm a solo game dev working on an ambitious project to embody my favorite games, but make them realistic because they're all dated. Lol. Daggerfall/Everquest/Minecraft/Arc/TheSims. A lot of games are hitting close, like Pax Dei / Bellwright / Enshrouded, etc.. but none are hitting the mark for me. My game will likely never be complete because it's scope it's stupid huge, but it will hopefully be a fun journey. And if AI keeps getting better like it is, maybe it will be able to help me speed up the process. Wish me luck!
@@GES1985 best of luck to you! With AI and advances in game engines/technologies, who knows! Just make sure you have fun along the way, and it’ll make the whole thing worth it
@@fatjay9402 I totally agree! That’s why I said the game needs to succeed, so people play it. This early access is more like a testing phase so I’m not too worried about the game’s population right now. Full release is what will matter
2024 gamers are so ungrateful. All them cry because Pax dei this, Pax dei that. But every time they spend 60 dollars in AAA pile of shit games and after 10/20 hours they quit and never Touch the game again. About Pax dei Im so happy since day 1. Amazing crafting/gathering system Amazing graphics Its fun game solo or with friends For 40€ i think it was really cheap
I think is really strange that so "many" people are so postive about this game.. I have now 200 hours and sofar i dont see me playing any many others by next month. Since their is nothing to do in the game. Some content is locked behind havin mindless 20+ people beating 1 mob to kill him. And other things are not even in the game. And PVP is also not a thing. So why are you all so postive? Since the DEVs didnt add much to the game since the last 2 Alphas. Ofc the change some stuff and did some bug fixes.. but thats not Content. Hell even all the Tiers are not in the game it still stops at STEEL.
@@fatjay9402 yup the game is still heavily lacking in content and needs its combat to be updated, but it’s still in its very early stages, so I expect those things to come with time. When they released this early access, they said it will be at least another year before the actual full game is released. For those of us being positive about the game, it’s because we enjoy what it has so far, we can see that it’s a really good starting foundation and that excites us. Now the devs just have to deliver.
Why would you rush through a game like that that's not finished, yet, and also got no endgame content, yet? Just take your time, no need to get to max level in whatever profession you chose within the first two weeks. Maybe it's just me, I never got that mindset of "Gotta get to max level FAST so I'll get to the GOOD stuff!" - for me, the "good stuff" is taking my time, going exploring, building my house, re-building my house as I unlock better build pieces, decorating my house, working on my chosen profession's levels ...
