You know I have it bad -- I play hours of Pax Dei daily and then watch videos about Pax Dei -- hope everyone is having fun and staying cool. Honestly I think markets are coming before August. I think it's been ready for a bit but they wanted everything stable before unleashing it. I don't think mounts are coming until 2025 --- to do it right is going to take some work and I think they want to get the beginnings of religion then baronies out first. Players create the religions - plural. It's been confirmed that Religions anoint knights who create baronies. There are also supposed to be crafting guilds. Oh and to round it all out families. There are other Provinces in the plans -- already named and everything. I think we're going to wipe once before January.
Kindly while recording content, How about actually showing some content, as so far every video i've seen so far you're just walking around in a loop circle, really making it seems like you're more of walking simulator speculating content, then actually playing it yourself, no hard feels just do more gameplay man

For all of you who want fishing. Please understand that standing in front of the river and left clicking will get boring in 10min... You won't even need to run between rocks/trees... And the second part is that for that 10min you will be somewhere braindeadlessly digging worms for 40min first of all... Just stop asking, cooking is insanely huge anyways 😂😂😂 What we really need is transportation of goods... Wheelbarrows, human pulled vagons, horse taming, horse riding, horse chariots and vagons 😅
With the economy update, they need something like contracts. If a player wants another to gather 1000 bricks, here is a contract with the pay amount, same with any other type of service. I also wish for a character to only be able to 'master' 2 or 3 professions. That way, the economy will also come into play. Lastly, I wish for these 'masters' to be able to have some type of system to add extra stats/attributes to crafted gear. Else, eventually everyone will have BiS gear.
I love your content but I really think youre riding the cope train hard with Pax Dei. Its never going to be what we want it to be. I wish I didnt buy into this EA.
I really hope they add some kind of actual magic system as well it bothers me that they call the normal attacks that we're doing with our melee weapons spells those aren't spells those are abilities or skills
I think it is going to be a dead game in two years time like other games. They just have not thought about it enough on how to create Player content sorry.
I just want a scaling feature available. Make 3 charcoal pits and they merge to form a charcoal station that let's you have access to 5 times the production. Then I want farm plots where I can grow stuff.
We also need loot rules not free for all loot we need need/greed round robin personal loot something it’s the Wild West right now in terms of gathering loot from kills
I think the conversation of combat evolution is required. If i want to solo play and never touch a weapon, can i do that? I want a spell book like Ultima Online where i acquire spells through dungeons or specific questing concepts. Armor attached spells are plain bad. It will prevent people from staying because it prevents a sandbox play style. Now i think armor types should increase or decrease magic damage and maybe more stma consumption when casting. If i want to wear a full plate and cast spells, that's my choice. Not to mention, the holy trinity just doesn't work unless a guild grinds a dungeon to get an ugly healing hat. Comabt place holder is fine - i dont see the vision working. I've got 75+ hrs playing and love the game. Comabt improvements asap required.
@DemoneKim it's like the steering wheel. It's perfect, but adding heating and buttons improves it. The base concept is perfect. I feel like they're trying to rewrite what makes the trinity fun. This game screams pve with pks running around. Plus, all the negative reviews stems around combat.
You mentioned the eye location that is a church. I went there during the day and noticed a light mechanic where the the rays of the sun make an eye shape inside the church. On top of the center piece in the church there is the same eye shape made of stone. I was slowly watching the sun image get closer to the stone. I really hope this is a mechanic in the future.
I really hope the modify the Gloria Victus route, this seems like massive pvp.. GLORIA VICTUS LITERALLY HAD 300 VS 300 OR MORE AND 3 FACTIONS. can't be exactly the same for territory control, but.. it was awesome.. there was just a few things they never polished... but it also had a FOR HONOR STYLE AIMING COMBAT SYSTEM. PvP is definitely going to be a factor.. it has been talked about building kingdoms in pvp areas, at some point I believe they will eliminate the pvp zone and have it all over except very small areas.. I mean we just 30 man a dungeon imagine some throne and liberty type open world dungeon (I know you load into pax dei dungeon, but it doesn't seemed to be completely instanced) and you run into another guild and your fighting powerful mobs and another guild at the same time.. idk high hopes, typically leads to let downs.. hope for the best, expect the worst, and hopefully that tempers expectations and allows. you to enjoy the game
Demone, do you get the impression that the grind beyond 20 skill when crafting is going to prevent players from just doing all of the crafting for themselves by 3-6 months? In other words, I already know people that are over 25 in a single crafting profession. If they reach max or can be functionally maxed by crafting the best items, they're just going to move on to the next one. Weaponsmithing -> Blacksmithing -> Leathworking and so on down the line until they are max everything. What prevents that from being the endgame? Why would they ever buy a good or service from another player again? Note: To be clear, I'm genuinely curious about this and not making an argument that is couched as a question. I feel like Mainframe must have some strategy up their sleeve to limit player generalization and encourage specialization in a way that maintains a player driven economy. I just want to figure out what that strategy is.
I want to really like the game - & partly do!.... But - The current state is just too grindy with pretty limited incentive ( particulary in a wipeable alpha) certainly the economy is *crucial* We need scarcity, reward & a vision of what endgame & clan/conflict looks like
The game is grindy, but if you're in a decent size plan, it's not that bad . we have one person that we power level in every profession. So I'm level like 30 carpentry but all my other scale is a level one. by doing it this way you actually have people who specialize in job professions and anything you need. guess what?. You just go to person and have it done.. it literally becomes like a town where you can't Master everything and only one thing. And then after we get done power logoing one guy we start with the next guy and then if we need high level stuff we already have a master
Bruh they have stated that it’s a multiplayer game, thats the design. You wouldnt buy a game where the devs specifically said its singleplayer and expect them to add multiplayer content or curb the design to suit those people. It’s like walking a sponsored run . Maybe this game isnt for you
Right, they should focus on their combat system when they have an entire crafting profession (Jewelcrafting) that crafts items with no stats on them whatsoever up and down the entire progression. The crafting system isn't even close to complete. They need to stop focusing on combat. Stop doing the same thing we've been doing for over 20 years, and focus on their CRAFTING SYSTEM.
@@fatjay9402 Asking for more content BEFORE early access even begins is crazy entitlement. If you followed the development closely, that means you knew exactly what you were getting. Can't complain then. If they promise something and don't deliver, then you can.
You don't need the economy update for there to be economy. we have been trading as a guild as a barter and figuring out our own prices. oh, this is five to one, we negotiate 4 to 1 etc
You just need to practice so you can be on top of these updates with crafting knowledge and map knowledge. Also join a clan. I've been having a great freaking time and love seeing what other people are building while I build.
