Folks traditionally I am not big on country music! but this song should be the anthem for all of us that believe in equality, women and human rights! kudos to this valiant young lady! so come on! Let's spread it around!!
The kind of country that I have been waiting for for quite a while. I have been away from country for a few years because I was waiting for the sound I have known in the past. The accordion and steel guitar and her clear honest voice. I am hooked.
I Love this song. Margo Price is a very talented woman who isn't afraid to tell the truth and speak her mind. The world needs more artist's like her, I think our voices are very important and if we use them we can change the world for the better! #LoveTheNewAlbum
Such a great song! Which is why it was really so satisfying to be able to put this song on a playlist of over 300 songs by female vocalists I recently made for all the fury and frustration we are having right now: : ru-vid.com/group/PLtTpAIqD_OG8n9Tl5ufEMsxC-w1hBKAho Let me know if you think of other songs that should be on the Mad as Hell, Frustrated as Fuck playlist!
If you could actually pay women less companies would only hire women. Do you not think things through before you write a song about it? We have laws against unequal pay. The EARNINGS gap is due to women taking more time off and working less overtime than men, as well as the fields of work they choose to pursue. In fact, unmarried women in their 20's earn more on average than men in the same age range. Men don't catch up and surpass them until their 30's.
Shelly Maree well it’s because it’s debatable a bunch of other people not just white men think (know) it’s false because it’s unconstitutional but other people clearly like yourself think the pay gap is real, so clearly it is political.
@@ihavenofuture8258 Well, don't worry. Since this song, she's been blacklisted by the country music establishment -you know, the one that plays >9:1 men:women artists. (An ever increasing number for men since women had about 35% of the airtime and were getting 50% of the awards.)
Yeah, not sure if women at the top make the same as men, I'd guess someone like Carrie Underwood or Miranda Lambert surely do but with that said FAR less women seem to be at the top or on country radio. No doubt though many super talented artists struggle to make a living in the music business, hotels, vehicles and everything associated with travel cost money plus paying band members a decent wage as well. It can be a big step for an artist playing locally and going home each night to hit the road and tour nationally.
So Long Suckers , You sound like the orange shitstain. "Many economists are saying". GFY, I am no longer being nice to troglodytes. If you don't appreciate real artists like Margo telling it like it is, Florida Georgia Line is more your style. Did I mention GFY
So Long Suckers , No you don't like Margo. Your troglodyte mind can't even grasp the fact that by opposing what she stands for you are not her fan. GFY you orange shitstain loving troglodyte.
I love Everything by Margo except this song. Sounds Like Crooked Hillary is singing to me. I am a man and the Industry I am in The women make more money so I don't buy this bullshit. Other than that I love her and she puts on one hell of a Live show
