Enjoy Beyonce and Chicago. I went to see Usher in Las Vegas last weekend and it was spendy - food, drink, Ubers, hotel, etc. I ordered my Beyonce tour t-shirt from Amazon to wear and will be seeing it close to home in August so hopefully there will be not much money spent for it.
Thank you! Seeing Usher sounds like so much fun 🤩 but I'm sure it did add up lol. I'm treating the Beyonce concert like a vacation as well, that's why it's so expensive for me. But it'll be an experience so it'll be worth it 😊. Hope you have a great time at the concert!!
Don’t beat yourself up about savings. You took a temporary pause to cash flow vacations (live life) and not go into debt for them. You will be fine. Look at your recent history of savings and paying off that debt you had earlier this year!
I be so mad about these checks but then I was like GIRL HAVE FUN!! I be going to work and back home and back to work and back home. Regret that I had was not having fun at the same time. Got me straight into depression not taking time for me. So have fun girl!!! Go all out! Y’all could do like a “how much we spent in Chicago…or how much we spent on Beyoncé trip” etc. it’ll be so fun to watch. I honestly love just seeing contents of people spending money Ahhaha.
Glad you’re having a fun summer! 😊 I always underbudget for trips. So last summer I call myself over budgeting for our trip and it ended up being just enough 😂 😳
Thank you! I hope you're having a fun summer! See I under budgeted when I went to Seattle so I'm trying to avoid that 😂. You breaking even is better than not having enough set aside so congrats! 😂👏🏼
Damn just watched your video about paying car off in 1 yr. Just curious about any new videos you may have posted and saw this one. In that video I think you were making $1600 per pay now you up to clearing $3000. You mind sharing what changed. New job, new career? Nonetheless way to go! Also $900 for rent which half I pay for mortgage. Nice that your rent is less than 1/6 of your monthly income.
Great post.🎉 Quick question, for people who struggle with financial discipline, do you think direct deposits broken up into multiple accounts could help with savings, or does “notion” do that?
Yes multiple accounts can help!! When I was a teenager I was really good with saving. Once I started dipping into my money I never saved and always shopped. I got a new job that was biweekly and could barely pay my bills. I had two checking sand one savings account. It helped me a lot because I started splitting my money in half to mimic the weekly checks. I also would put bills money in one account and it let me see how much I truly had for my needs. That system quickly helped me to get back on track
How much was lasik and is it worth the money for ya? I’m doing it next week for 5K (Cali). Employer has FSA so I won’t have to pay with after-tax dollars yay
